Richa Rain Warrior Trousers - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Great Rain Trousers
These trousers are really good quality and nicely finished. I only have one complaint...the inner layer separated / tore from the waist band on the inside as I was pulling them on. It's a small thing but really disappointing when the rest of the product is so good.
Almost too good to be true?
I bought these relatively cheap waterproof overtrousers without much of a belief that they were going to be amazing; I just needed something that would keep me moderately dry. Colour me impressed, they've kept me bone dry in heavy rain, they keep the cold wind off your legs and they're adjustable at the waist and the ankles/shin - Everything about this feels like a high quality build and yet it's at such a low price. Overall I'm incredibly impressed at the great quality for the price you play. If you're looking to get some waterproofs, pick these.
No more soggy b*lls
Only used these a few times as it's been relatively dry and warm. These have kept my jeans clean, that are also waterproof, bar the unstitched area between my legs. Nice and light so can be packed away easily in my backpack. They are thicker than I expected so should last against the elements and will add a layer of warmth for when it's cold.
Used these for the first time on Saturday during the freezing rain. They fit comfortably over my jeans and kept me dry. Seemed to help deflect wind as I didn't notice my legs feeling all that cold given the conditions. They come with a handy drawstring pouch too. You just can't go wrong for the price. Recommended.
Pretty good considering most waterproof trousers will eventually leak after sitting on, and stretching, the seams during extended use. Seem to be well made so hoping they will last me a couple of years. I'm 36" waist 34" leg and thought the L might be a little short so got the XL. Easy to put on, perhaps a little baggy but rather that than too short or difficult to put on. Only been out on a couple of rainy days since purchase but kept me perfectly dry so far.
Good quality but poor fit. I am 5'8" and 11stone and ended up trying XS, S and M over my Richa textiles. Medium were good length but hugely baggy, XS were only just too small and too short. I kept the Small size which fitted OK but are still too short on the bike unless wearing full touring boots. Disappointed there is not enough Velcro on the adjustment tabs to give a tight enough fit. Good quality material and have kept me dry so far but wouldn't buy again due to fit.
Best I've found
My first pair stayed waterproof for c. 1 season of daily riding. I did like them, so I bought a second pair. I briefly tried a pair of Oxford Rainseal trousers as I wanted high-vis, but the fit was inferior (too tightly fitted around the knee for me). These are also made of a superior (thicker) fabric. I'm 6ft 1, c. 80kg and 33 inch inside leg and went for size XL after finding my first pair in L were a bit on the short side. These are if anything too baggy around the behind and lower leg (can work their way above the boot if you get a small size), but good around the knee where you don't want it too tight for the sportsbike knee-bend. Length could be a bit longer for me.
