Garmin Motorcycle GPS

I paired this with the bar controller as it’s a must have. A lot of money for a lead just so a rider can zoom in and out of a compatible Garmin device. Don’t waste your money is my opinion.

Controller sits nicely on the bar not to obtrusive. Buttons are robust and large enough to press using gloves. Controller activated functions on my Garmin XT2 as described in manual however before you purchase be really clear on the functions that matter to you personally. The buttons are programmable to a degree but not all functions that you may deem important, for example, I wanted to control my iPhone through the controller to make and answer calls and to access the contacts but this function is not supported however volume control for music is?‍♂️. I think Garmin needs to think about real world users and what matters to them as not everyone will travel around the world and need a button dedicated to locking the sat nav screen!! Just my thoughts. I’ve got it now but in my opinion I would think twice about buying again.

After having several issues with Waze on my iPhone in Europe, I have bought this as a. Back up..
Fits neatly on the bike. The smaller screen is just right on the bars.
Works really well, fast, clear and easy to use. Also has some of the real time features ( speed traps ) etc, when used in conjunction with the Garmin app.
Also great off road.
Highly recommended.

Tested the new sat nave on a weekend in the lake district. Once set up on the bike it was easy to use, adding in stops along the way was also straight forward. I tried the " twisty" road option, this took me all over the place. I then tried the "no motorways " option and it was perfect, some good routes that includes two passes we wanted to go on. Also the petrol selection was great when we were running low.
