Slow to respond and hard to learn!
Garmin Zumo XT2 Motorcycle Sat Nav
11 Jun 2026 by Xenophon
Garmin Zumo XT2 Motorcycle Sat Nav I have found the Zumo XT2 hard to get to use and counterintuitive! It’s been slow to respond to screen presses and the map loading took for ever! I called Garmin Technical support who after a very thorough online investigation of videos I uploaded they agreed the equipment was faulty and offered to replace with a new device direct or the option to deal with SPORTSBIKESHOP! I chose to deal with them direct as they only wanted the device returned and not all I had installed on the bike! Both Garmin and SPORTSBIKESHOP service was top class! I don’t shop around anymore! Straight to SPORTSBIKESHOP!

Garmin Zumo XT3 Motorcycle Sat Nav - 6 Inch Display

Garmin Zumo XT3 Motorcycle Sat Nav - 6 Inch Display Had the original Garmin zumo, and the original TomTom rider
Have used android auto on my motorcycles aswel
Some of the places I go loose phone signal so had to switch back to dedicated GPS
Don't regret my purchase but the zumo xt 3 is a very complicated unit with many options an settings
I originally went to purchase the TomTom rider and think that would of been a better option for myself
As with Garmin you have set the level of adventure you want
When all I want is no green lanes, no motorways, an twisty roads on the TomTom that's 2 mins
On the Garmin xt3 several profiles later still figuring it out but getting their...

Garmin Zumo XT3 Motorcycle Sat Nav - 4.7 Inch Display
05 Jun 2026 by Marc
Garmin Zumo XT3 Motorcycle Sat Nav - 4.7 Inch Display I had the older Zumo 390 LM, that came to the end of its life after 15 years. I replaced with the XT3. Pros- the screen is much brighter and easier to see in the sun. The screen is much more responsive to even gloved hands. Hard wiring very straight forward and all parts included. The addition of shaping points is very good. If you need to get to one address sat navs are great. The treads app is much better than the Basecamp software. Negative- Route planning with multiple stops I find frustrating, the device and app can conflict. Many still use a third party like My Route Planner.

Garmin Zumo XT3 Motorcycle Sat Nav - 4.7 Inch Display It's complicated, not intuitive and needs patience to learn. Find my self using my phone still.
Bright screen and easy to read in sun light unlike a phone.
