Garmin Motorcycle GPS

I really like Garmin sat navs. This will be my 3rd. The screen on the XT2 is great. It's bright and is a good size. I have had no issues with the interface (so far). I've not used all of the features, and there are a lot of them so my review is necessarily limited. The installation was easy (but you will need a heat shrink wrap electrical connector sleeve if you are going to connect it to the battery). It has a lot of safety warning features -- alerts if you go over the speed limit -- but it also allows for connection to your phone with included text message alerts. But you can decide what alerts you want.I have had some software issues "external" to its primary function. Using a Mac computer it won't connect to Garmin Express. Registration also seemed to take a few attempts. Not sure what's going on with Garmin. And it won't read MP3 files I've put on to the external micro SD. I've been in contact with Garmin but so far they don't have a solution. Minus these software issues, which don't really impact the GPS side, it's a great device.

Not pleased with the delivery itself I was in all day on the designated delivery date but it was left in full view on my doorstep.

I've wanted a new gps for a while, so when the price dropped it became my Christmas present. Quality seems good hopefully will last as long as my zumo 660 (16 years) it seems initially quite complex when the tread app is running and lots more features I won't use.
I was surprised on ordering I was charged a delivery fee of £5 from SBS

A very robust and easy to use bit of kit. Easily mounted on my Guzzi Norge and easy to remove too. I would very much recommend this item.
