You need this to fit the Garmin XT Sat-nav to the XT adaptor plate, that attaches to the BMW Sat-nav housing.
If you have the central locking system on your BMW you can't lock in on.

Needed this mount to fit a Zumo XT to new R1300GS . Fitted with a 3D AM adaptor plate better alternative to the OEM BMW nav but works with BMW electrics
