Richa City Gore-Tex Mixed Gloves - Black

I ordered these gloves in a XL size having measured across the palm of my hand as instructed.
The order arrived very quickly as always with Sportsbikeshop
I found the XL size difficult to get on because the wristband seems small, but once on a perfect fit. I exchanged them for a 2XL which are easyer to get on but still tight to get your hand through the wrist opening.
I haven't worn the gloves in the wet yet so can't comment on how waterproof they are.

Just started to wear these now and they are nice and warm for my short journeys.

Second pIr I've had. First pair I've had for 10 years and only reason for replacing them is that they're no longer waterproof. Warm at 0° with heated grips and not too bulky.

Used these recently on a 400mile trip around wales and so glad I brought them before October went

As a motorcycle instructor I work in all sorts of weathers and my search for warm waterproof gloves has been ongoing! The Richa city forested had the right balance of comfort and also control of the instruments!
I ve got all out winter gloves which give give very little feedback from the controls, however these gloves kept me warm, dry, and in full control!

Tested with a naked bike in 5*C weather when going to work. They will keep you warm enough. Waterproofing wasn't tested yet, but I doubt it would fail.
Very comfortable and easy to put on. Quality is amazing.
Gripe - questionable sizing. The chart said M, but they were too loose, replaced with S and those fit well. Med worker, usually all (nitrile etc.) S gloves are too tight and M gloves fit like... a glove, not this time though. Order two closest sizes and return one pair would be my suggestion.

I bought these based on a bit of research and a number of reviews, most of which praised them highly.

I was looking for a pair of short cold/cool weather gloves, to save the faff of getting some longer, bulkier ones under or over the cuffs of my jacket.

These Richa gloves fit the bill nicely.

They are a good fit, comfortable, warm and, so far, completely waterproof.

They are easy to get on and off and fit under the sleeve of my jacket very well.

If the weather is very cold, I need my heated grips. But at most times my hands are kept comfortably warm.

Overall, a good purchase. I can see these gloves serving me very well for a long time.

I thought at first they were a bit bulky but soon wear in and soften. Kept hands warm in 5 degree ride with heated grips on so overall I'd recommend them but remember they're a short cuff so make sure your jacket has long sleeves.. Excellent service from SBS as always.

Good piece of kit, good quality however the lining feels as though it will come out if your hands are wet or sweaty when taking the gloves off, so need to be extra careful

Very good gloves. Warm and definitely waterproof. Bought for a tour round Scotland and had a couple of days of rain. They kept my hands warm and dry.

Good gloves so far, but 2 annoyances are, 1) fingers could be longer [taking a larger size means too much material bulk] and, 2) feels like in the left glove there is too much seam inside the curve between thumb and index finger [starts to feel uncomfortable after riding for an hour]. Maybe a dodgy glove as the right seems to be okay.

As I already have and highly recommend the Richa Goretex suit, I purchased the City glove after trying on various other styles and brands... I prefer the sporty street look rather than the bulky adventure / touring as I always seem to struggle with the cuffs on the jacket.
Wore then a couple of times so far, once on a 2 1/2 journey home in torrential motorway rain and they performed amazingly well. Highly recommend....

I bought these with the comute to work in mind, as my Richa Arctics are a bit cumbersome on shorter rides and dexterity wise for reaching for keys to open up gates etc. Definitely not disappointed with the city gloves as they are easy to get on and off and offer slightly more dexterity than the Arctics, they have what feels like a very comfy fleece type lining that keeps the wind and cold out a treat. The touch sensitive fingers allow you to operate your mobile & Tom Tom which I also find useful. I haven't worn these in any heavy downpours yet, but I'm sure they will hold out in any maelstrom if they are true to the usual Richa standard. All in all I think these will be a good all rounder and would recommend them for sure
