Give your fingers a treat with the right pair of winter gloves...
Customers appreciate these gloves for their waterproof properties, comfort, and good value. Many note they provide a good feel for controls and are effective when used with heated grips. While most find them warm and well-constructed, some mention the gloves struggle in extreme cold. Fit seems accurate but some customers recommend sizing up if borderline. Minor issues include velcro wrist straps and cuff fit. Overall, they are commended for their quality and performance.
Extremely accurate description of the gloves here at the SBS website and size fits perfectly and they are warm, work well with heated grips as some of the other thicker gloves don't work so well with heated grips so wanted to mention it. The inner membrane doesn't pull out with your hand, the cuffs go under any jacket easily and the overall fit and finish is absolutely perfect. Some of the other leather gloves hurt your hand when you ride for long hours and these ones keep you hand comfy at all times, I have ridden for 5 hours straight without any issues. Highly recommended
Warm enough for short rides in colder weather. Decent quality, fit and comfort.
Excellent gloves. Really comfortable. They feel warm and snug, as soon as you put them on! They are waterproof and really well worth the money. Great dispatch and delivery by SportsBikeShop. Well recommended!
A great fitting glove and warm down to 8° at least, rode through rain and hands bone dry.
The glove take a bit of breaking in but are comfortable from the off and fit under the sleeves of my jacket.
Wanted some gortex gloves for the wet and colder days on the bike, and the reviews on these were generally good. I have been out in them on a cold day 2 degrees C, but the wind chill would have taken the temperature lower. They did keep my hands and fingers warm for 20 mins and then switched the heated grips onto 50% and found this was a perfect combination. Size was spot on for me measured as medium and they were snug but are loosening up nicely. Seem good value for money as I got them in the sale. Seem very well made and of good quality. So far I am happy with them just need to test fully in the rain.
Massive improvement on my last very budget winter gloves.
Very warm, good fitting and the internal lining stays in place.
Excellent quality and value at this price point.
The sizing chart said I was a large, so I got these, but after purchasing I think I am probably in between an M and L size. I have a little room in these but the M could have been a bit tight. The good thing is that I can fit a pair of small running gloves on also to aid warmth. Definitely Waterproof, and warm to a point, not too bulky or thick. I do feel the cold in my fingers, I wore in 5-6 ish degrees with heated grips and my hands were fine, much lower and I'll be adding those gloves. I found the leather outer flap, which overlaps the cuff annoying to fit under my jacket so trimmed this down, other than that all good for the price.
Waterproof yet light and with feeling for switchgear and gps. Has run blade on index finger to clear visor. This is my second pair as I wore out the first. Great glove, great value
Definitely waterproof, definitely not ice polar. Good to about 4 degrees, fingers dropping off after 7 miles at that. I ride daily year round and I've yet to find a good set of winter gloves, thank god for heated grips!
Bought the very same gloves 3 years ago but a recent slide on gravel wrote one of the gloves off, Had no hesitation in ordering the same again, Warm and totally waterproof,. Top marks to the SBS team as usual excellent service.
Great gloves, warm but loads of feel. Not used in run yet but so far so good. Definitely recommend.
Seem warm and still have good feel of controls.
Comfy gloves and seem well constructed. I bought them for use with heated grips and I think they are about right for that - without they might struggle on coldest winter days.
Can't vouch for waterproofing yet.
Only slight niggle is wrist adjustment straps could do with more velcro.
For size, I'm borderline L/XL and needed XL in these.
Not the warmest winter glove I've ever had, but they are by far the thinnest I've owned, meaning I have much better control than the usual chunky winter glove.
Personally I start to feel the cold at about 20 minutes in 2c (typical UK back country roads)
So far so good. Nice and warm through autumn weather. Winter is next test
Out yesterday in rain and temp about 10c for about 3 hours, hands warm and dry.
Bought these for a recent tour around the Lake District and anticipating rain and lower temps they did not disappoint. Kept my hand bone dry and reasonably warm aided with heated grips. The only slight criticism would be the cuff got saturated with rain so taking them off and putting them back on meant hands got a little wet but it is only a little niggle.
Good quality gloves however after having them on some really cold days I find that my fingers were just about numb. Waterproof ok but not enough to keep fingers comfortable.
