I’ve found the Alpinestars SMX-6 V2 to be a well-constructed boot that offers solid protection and a sleek, understated look — especially at this price point. I expected the sole to be quite stiff, but was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are for walking around. That said, they can run a bit warm on hot summer days. I’d recommend choosing a size that allows room for both thin and thick socks, so they’re comfortable year-round. They do need a bit of breaking in, but once settled, they strike a great balance between protection and everyday usability.

I find these boots really comfortable to walk in and they also suit my wide feet.
They are certainly a wider fitting than my Sidi boots.
Be aware that they are sized for the US market (according to Revzilla) hence you will need to go up a size compared to your usual equivalent EU size.
e.g. I am normally a UK 9, EU43 - but need an a size 44 in Alpinestars boots.
