Advice & Guides Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...
You buy the Trench because it doesn't look like an ADV jacket and it's not black but at the same time it offers great protection and it's Goretex laminated. True to size, plenty of pockets (two inside, one napoleon and two outside). Slight niggle is that it deos not have a vent in the back. However, with the chest vent panels open it's good to ride comfortably in temperatures up to mid 20s. Not tested in serious downpours yet, but Rev'it jackets have always preformed well for me in the past.
Very comfortable, well made, fits nice and dosent shout "I'm a biker" when you are off the bike.
Fits true to size.
good value for money.
for the protection you get it’s not the heaviest jacket I’ve had which is good also just toured around Scotland and wales in medium rain and was waterproof with no problems and with the air vents and removable lining was cool enough in the September sun (not that there was much of that!) would recommend.
I wanted a waterproof jacket, that wasn't black and didn't look like and ADV jacket, that I could wear most of the year and this one hits the mark. Good price from Sportsbikeshop too.
Considered many jackets before buying this one. Those laminated I tried on felt bulky and stiff unlike the Trench 2. Good features including the Revit vents, coupled with the understated monochrome colour made my decision. Sizing was spot on and adjusted sufficiently for my build.
