You wear waterproof kit, so why should your stuff get wet? These bags will save your bits and bats from a soaking
I like:
* General construction is good and to a mostly high standard. Only one loose thread found and can be trimmed off without damaging the stitching
* Great capacity / size
* Excellent hi-vis colour as well as reflective trim should mean i am more visible while riding. Ive had a few compliments from other bikers on it already.
* Compartment for a back protector means i can take the one from my jacket and put in the bag
* Excellent chest and waist straps making it really comfy and adjustable. It will probably become my hiking rucksack too
I dont like:
* While the capacity.is good, i dont think the zips will allow you to put a lot of weight in the bag. Will be fine for clothes, lunch box and maybe a laptop but i wont be carrying anything much heavier for fear of the zips coming open or breaking (i am really hard on zips and generally break them in any item fairly quickly)
*Unsure how water resistant the fabric is, and dont have a lot of confidence in the rain cover - its not clear how it should fit, and i worry the rain cover might ballon up when riding at speed (not tested this yet)
Overall, really pleased for the money and glad i have plenty of space for carrying my work gear.
Service from SBS is also excellent as i have found previously.
I needed a new rucksack and saw this one on the sportsbikeshop site. It looks great and I'm really pleased with the amount of space inside. Plus, it comes with a attached rain cover that is stored in a zipped enclosure near the bottom of the rucksack.
The Richa Paddock Bag has plenty of storage space for all of your essentials. One of the key features allows you to place your D3O back protector inside of the pocket within the rucksack, rather than having it in your jacket.
