Very pleased with my new Arai Concept-XE. Returning to biking after a very long absence and this helmet was the Goldilocks fit from a wide range of makes and models. The helmet epitomises Arai s reputation for quality, safety, and attention to detail. Friendly and helpful SBS staff recommended a different size of cheek pad for a perfect fit, free of charge thanks to Arais commitment to customer satisfaction. Can t fault the product or service, well done everyone!

Visor change is a pain

Good helmet, great price, it fits the same as other Arai's
The only issue is the visor change is long winded and different to every other arai I've had
Not great for frequent light to dark visor swaps
I'd recommend checking YouTube before making a decision

Obviously, an amazing product being Arai , but Sportsbikeshop made the purchase stress free and pleasurable .

This product is of a very high quality with a fantastic paint job. It's a little heavier than my previous lids but I've switched to a retro bike with an upright riding position, taking a little stress off my neck and wrists (I'm 60). I usually take size large in other brands but when my order arrived, it was too big. I took it back to sportsbikeshop, the customer service was excellent and I had a replacement (medium) by the following morning. Superb!

Really comfortable helmet that fits snugly. Pin lock was included in my purchase and the venting in the helmet does a great job at keeping the visor clear. I also have complete faith in the safety of the helmet.

I like how well it fits , the quality is excellent, one of my best helmets by far, very little road noise and ventilation is great.
Pinlock was a little tricky to fit but definitely worth the faff .

Concept-XE's brute simplicity is the product of imagination, but make no mistake, while the retro style may grab the attention it had to pass Arai's stringent in-house testing. So underneath the aggressive look, you'll find a strong, lightweight PB e-cLc shell, with a smooth and round shape, reinforced with Arai's proprietary peripheral belt, to slide across surfaces and glance-off obstacles. The VAS-VC shield system, with its retro mechanical look, further enhances glancing-off performance by lowering the visor pivot point to maximize a smooth upper shell.
Although a nod to the past, the Concept-XE is very much a helmet of the present. Ready for a generation of modern riders that demand a new, old style - but with the performance and comfort only an Arai can provide.
