I like how well it fits , the quality is excellent, one of my best helmets by far, very little road noise and ventilation is great.
Pinlock was a little tricky to fit but definitely worth the faff .

Excellent quality helmet, always been a Shoei user, but the latest models seemed too tight. Great fit, I think the lack of a physical front vent on the crown helps the stability. Cooling for the forehead comes from some natty vents running through the top of the visor into the helmet. These come into your eyeline, but after 2/3 rides disappear.

Typical Arai quality, fits like a glove and beautifully put together, it's true that you get what you pay for.
I have been wearing Arai helmets for many years now and can see no reason that I would want to change that.

Suits retro bikes

Been riding for over 35 years on trail bikes, nakeds, sports tourers and supersports. Used different helmets depending on what I'm riding. Some were great and some not so great. The Arai Concept is perfectly suited to retro style bikes where lower speeds is where you'll live. If you're going to be riding at a fast pace leave this helmet on the shelf.
Me and my GT Continental are very happy with the Concept XE.
Great price from Sportsbikeshop and another hit from Arai.

Nice to be back inside an Arai, tried cheaper lids and they're not even close. The only minor gripe would be a bigger chin skirt would be an improvement as it does try to lit when you get a shift on. Other than that no issues at all, love it!

My first Arai and it looks great with good ventilation.
But it's not very aredynamic on a naked bike, at speed there is way too much head buffering.
Thankfully I have a second bike with a screen and the Arai works fine.

I wanted a full faced helmet that would suit my old bike and have that retro look. I found it in the Arai Concept-XE. Very well made snug fitting helmet complete with Pinlock. It was a little more than I would normally pay but hopefully it will last me a good few years.

This helmet is awesome!
Still super light n comfortable after a days ride.
I fitted a new Arai smoked visor (which was very easy) looks mean as a junk yard dog!
No downside to this helmet at all.

Retro without the limitations !

I brought this helmet a few weeks ago after looking for a retro helmet style, I tried the Shoei Glamster and to no avail. However I was recommended this by a colleague, and I must say I wasn't let down. It's got a lovely finish and is extremely comfortable without loosing a confident safe feeling, the visor is strong and holds a max vision pin lock leading to great visibility. All in all what you would expect from an Arai !

The VAS-VC shield system, with its retro mechanical look, further enhances glancing-off performance by lowering the visor pivot point to maximize a smooth upper shell.
Although a nod to the past, the Concept-XE is very much a helmet of the present. Ready for a generation of modern riders that demand a new, old style - but with the performance and comfort only an Arai can provide.
