Verified Customer Reviews for Richa Rain Warrior Trousers
Customers share mixed experiences regarding Richa waterproof trousers. Some find them comfortable and effective in heavy rain, appreciating their fit and quality. However, others report issues like leaking in the crotch area during intense rain. While praised for being compact and easy to wear, sizing discrepancies surface, with some customers noting shorter leg lengths and struggles with fitting over gear. Despite occasional drawbacks, many still recommend them as a reliable, affordable option for staying dry.
These trousers had the biggest test, on our return from Dave Day on 21.06.2025. We set off from Barrow on 22.6.25 and by the time we got to Windermere, the heaven's opened. We travelled through the worst rain I have ever ridden through. I was bone dry when I got home.
Perfect fit and easy to store.
These trousers are great even through quite an unexpected heavy downpour, did better than I thought, I kept dry which is the important bit. Also good at stopping the cold winds hitting my legs.
Great product easy to put on and def waterproof as I found out in Spain - could maybe do with fluo or reflective areas but that doesn’t detract from what they do
Very good level of waterproofing for the first 12 months at least.
This is my second pair and proving as good as the first
Does what it says on the tin, good choice
Easy to keep in the storage bag provided, when you need full wet weather protection these are excellent and keeping the rain out and you dry resulting in keeping warm and comfortable while on your ride. Quick to dry out and really easy to fold down ready when you need it.
My old waterproofs had seen, better days so I thought I would upgrade.
As usual the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. After showing me the options I choose these. They are light and comfortable and reasonably priced. I've even had chance to try them in the rain since buying them. All in all a good choice and I even managed to fold them back into the small handy bag they are supplied with.
I was concerned about the sizing of these, however I opted to go for my usual waist size, this worked out perfectly. The legs are long, so would not be a problem for anyone, yet ok for those of shorter stature due to the velcro fastenings on the lower legs. The openings on the legs is generous, so easy to to put on over boots. Elasticated waist fits nicely and pull well up. Fortunately, I've not been caught out in the rain yet, so can't comment on their performance, however other reviews suggest this will be fine. They pack down into a compact bag which they come in, excellent, I'm very pleased with them.
The wife says these are comfortable and keeps you nice and dry even in heavy rain.
Rain, hail, thunderstorms - these have kept my legs dry through them all.
Easy to put on over boots, haven't worn in the rain yet. fairly compact in carry bag.
I ordered 4 different pairs of waterproof overtrousers and when they arrived I tried them all on individually without looking at which cost what. These were the easiest to put on, fit the best, secured around my boots easily, have a carry pouch, have proved totally waterproof and were the cheapest. Winner winner.
Great product and price
Wore these on a recent trip around Ireland in April, some VERY heavy showers and day long rain but they held out the water perfectly! Only downside for me is I found that with 29" inside leg & 32" waist a M size were way too long with a lot of excess material! I`ve since bought a size S which are a better fit. I`ve had several two piece & one piece suits over the years but these are by far the best at doing what they are supposed to. (I bought the M size rain warrior jacket too which fitted really well)
Good sizing, not cut too baggy. Quite easy to put on and remove, although can snag inner lining with boots. Good velcro adjustment on lower leg. Packs up small, so easy to carry. Has proven completely waterproof so far.
I am a new rider so my opinion may not be important but this product is affordable easy to put on and very effective. As my first proper piece of motorbike gear I am very satisfied and believe my money was well spent.
Definitely not left disappointed or having soaked pants when getting to work or having to make trips in the rain. I’ve ridden in heavy and light rain and not a drop of water comes through on my clothes under the rain gear
The trousers are perfect for over your normal kit, wide leg opening to fit over your boots ( carrier bag over boots makes it even easier ) and long enough within the size to allow for bent knees. previous waterproofs lasted only a few months before allowing water in at the seems. These appear to be strong and are lasting well. A bit of a bargain IMO.

Reading other people's questions you say the trousers and jacket are designed as over garments. To clarify that.
