Squire Barricade Disc Lock

Good quality disk lock. Purchased on the back of product review in Bike magazine. Well made and looks solid. Certainly quite weighty.

The holes in my bikes disc are quite small so the maximum size of shackle that will fit through is 13mm and this fits perfectly !
It has a good weight and solid feel to it with very tight tolerances so it can be a little fiddly when you first try it. The bar has a locking shoulder at the end which catches on the disc if you are not careful and gives the impression that it is stuck until you get used to it.
An excellent visual deterrent, perfect size and fits nicely under my seat so I always have it when I need it but I never rely on a single disc lock, I always lock both wheels !
I have a Squire Stronghold lock which I use for my chain that is about 10 years old and has the same level of quality as this and is very secure plus has a really good smooth action to it. I am confident this one will last just as long and be just as dependable !

I am extremely impressed by this British-made lock. Massively strong and fits easily under my BMW G310R's seat. A pleasure to use and it came with the keys code to get spares from any locksmith. Brilliant
