Hiplok D1000 D-Lock

I've always used mammoth locks and had Upto 5 on my bike at one point … this thing is amazing though and genuinely makes me feel more relaxed about leaving my bike parked knowing how hard these things are to cut off your bike … this is a must for all bikers .. worth every penny

It is hard to get too excited about a bike lock but this is a serious lock. heavy, desne, well made and with a key that clealry looks like it can defeat most expert picks. The videos show clearly its resistance to cutting with angle grinders. I do feel more confident locking my bike with this than with some other very decent locks I also own.

D Lock is sturdy and fit for purpose. Bought this to add to my security package on my bike. Not the cheapest lock but it does feel the most comprehensive.

Lock is heavy but that shows the quality of the lock. I use it to look my rear wheel to the swing arm on a yamaha mt10. Gaps in disc are to small on both front and rear same as the rear sprocket. So only place I could use it. Not had anyone try cut through it yet so may be a great deterrent.

The Hiplock D1000 is a superb lock. Very solid, sturdy and gives confidence that it will be very effective should it be called upon! The lock is surprisingly small in size, only just fitting through the front wheel rim of my R1250RT. It's too narrow to around the Rim and Tyre. I would recommend checking it fits through the design of your wheels before purchase. I tried it on a BMW K1600GT and I could not make it fit. The build quality looks excellent, a nice soft coating to help protect your rims when putting the lock on and off. I'd like to see the open ends just a little longer, to make it easier to fit through rims and have a chain secured also, I guess you can't have everything. It is simple and quick to put on, which means you're much more likely to actually use it too. I'd definitely recommend this lock to anybody, it is expensive, but it's a lot cheaper than buying a new bike, or even paying the increased insurance excess in the case of your pride and joy being stolen!

Nice sold chunky feel, hooks on the rear behind seat for transport. Reassuring to know there's chance the bike will be where you left it, hopefully the tea leaves will recognise the lock and look elsewhere before trying to take your bike..

Nice lock, little heavy but that's no issue, rubber around the lock stops the wheel from getting marked up. Worth the price knowing my bike is safe when not with it.

After having my commuter bike stolen even though it was locked with a disc lock and a chain, the Hiplok D1000 is the only lock that gives me the reassurance that I will come back to my motorbike after a hard days work. The quality of the product is evident and the online reviews speak for themselves. Yes it's a rather eye watering price but you get what you pay for.

Biggest advantage of the Hiplok D1000 vs Squire SS80S CEN6 padlock is that you can use Hiplok D1000 with a chain if you stationary or just on the wheel rim if you wanna travel light without carrying a chain. The lock operation is smooth.
Three keys are included.

After two attempts by thief's to take my Ducati I decided to purchase the Hip Lock. A 3rd attempt was made and captured on CCTV, they took one look at the lock and drove off without even trying. Clearly word has got out these locks are the business. Another one to be ordered for my 2nd Bike.

Great lock. Grinder proof. A bit small and won't go around a wheel on most bikes, but it does mean it fits under the seat on my Kawasaki H2SX. I will buy a noose chain to gp with it when I find the right one.
