Very heavy, so hopefully as good as it says
Seems to do what it says on the tin. Clearly I cannot yet attest to its physical effectiveness of preventing my bike going walkies, but no one has tried either, so visual effectiveness seems to work!
This lock is great quality I really like the ergonomics and the way the lock just clips in is quite satisfying, with lock dust cover, nice thick noose end which makes it easily extendable to connect to something, has protective coating to protect paintwork from damage and is a reasonable price. I would recommend. only consideration is carrying the chain can be quite heavy but even the lock itself could be sufficient
The looped chain makes life a lot easier chaining the bike up at home while the DX D lock is enough to deter opportunists and is compact to pack in your luggage.

I bought this lock to help with the insurance quotes for my new bike.
It is a great lock, and not too large.
I use the chain around my ground anchor, and can take the u shackle with me for added security on the road.
Very well made I use a disc lock on the front wheel and the hip lock on the rear around a pole or similar anchor very pleased especially when touring on the continental.
