Fits nicely with or without the liner, pockets are a good size and shape and jacket provides good movement - lets hope I never test the safety features
Only negative - doesnt come with a back protector (and the pocket is not well suited to constantly adding/removing one)

Once again at Milton keynes sportsbikeshop I had an excellent service when I went looking for a new middleweight jacket.
I was offered a number of different jackets to try on, with a variety of prices and styles and ended up buying the RST Brixton textile.
The staff took time to make sure that my purchase was right for me by giving me the opportunity to wear the jacket on their pretend bike, even giving me a helmet to wear to make sure the jacket was a perfect fit and didn't cause any restrictions or movement problems.
The jacket is a middleweight wax style jacket with a removable thermal liner, which is ideal for spring/summer riding.
As yet I have not been out in the rain so cannot confirm how waterproof it is, but hopefully in spring and summer we shouldn't get too much rain.
The jacket has 4 outer pockets and inner pockets in the liner and also in the jacket.
It comes with lightweight elbow protection and shoulder protection and there is a pocket for a back protector to be added if required.
The sleeves are plenty long enough as some jackets I tried seemed too short, with plenty of room to have your gloves either inside the jacket or outside, being secured with zips and velcro tabs.
There is a big zip across the back which gives well needed ventilation on a hot day.
The finish of the D30 textile jacket looks like a wax jacket but is not tacky or sticky like the old school types.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend anyone to visit sportsbikeshop for top quality service, good value prices and a massive choice of items, you will find it very difficult to leave the store empty handed.

I needed to replace my old astars leather jacket and wanted something light weight and casual. This was the best fitting jacket of all the ones I tried. The lining was comfortable but not restrictive, the jacket fit well, was light but also claimed to be waterproof (to be tested). The d3o armour sealed thr deal. The cuffs close really well with a zip and cover but I can't get leather gloves over the so have the sleeves over my gloves which is a bit of a pain but I didn't get much wind up my sleeves so all good. All in all a good jacket, very comfortable and well speced.
