Better than old trachtech evo’s

Got these as a replacement for broken evo 3’s they are improved significantly imho , zips work way better and easier and ankle joint doesn't creak nor loses parts

They are nice looking boots, but not as comfortable as my previous RST boots. When they arrived the insoles where all out of shape and misplaced making it uncomfortable underfoot. Also the Toe is extremely hard and rough making it uncomfortable when moving around on the bike and changing gear. I hope this will pass over time, but im sure its nothing a thick pair of boot socks will sort out.

Trying to improve one of our most famous products, the world renowned Tractech boot, was always going to be a challenge but the RST development team has delivered in 2026. They started off with a new inner foot profile, making the boot slimmer in the forefoot for easier gear changes, they then added in a new hard wearing toe slider, updated motion panels, a re-profiled upper and D3O protection in the shin and ankle. All together making a huge upgrade and an increase in safety to 2/2/2/2 IPA and IPS protection.
