To buy or not to buy. That was the question! We booked a bike trip around Spain and I reviewed the Scotoiler, some good some bad. I was going to buy one anyway, but when Sportsbikeshop reduced the price, it was a no brainier. Glad I did, easy fitting and no worries on the trip. Oh and by the way, had a great time!!!
I've had one of these on my Firestorm for years and the chain has done upwards of 20,000 miles and hardly ever needs adjusting. The modern version has a better mounting system and the delivery tip hardware is much improved. Looking forward to a long chain life on my Triumph.
After searching a shaft drive bike I found a better solution the Chain but with Scottoiler in place the Chain never needed additional adjustment a perfect solution for chains and better than heavy shaft drive, no more worry about the chain perfect and easy to fit just follow the instructions or video tutorial, the thing i liked most about the Scottoiler was its stylish design and added performance as the chain had the correct oil amount which caused less friction more power and more fuel economy, my first scottoiler and very impressive product. I should have brought it years ago.
Had scottoiler in the past and which I got one a year ago when I got my new bike gone back to tried and tested.
As now got a second bike for all year round.
Scottoiler are the experts.
Last bike with a chan did 54k on a standard oem unit so new bike obvious choice.
Fit and forget with large tank.
Easy installation.
A must for any chain driven bike.
I've fitted one of these on every bike I've owned. I modify the oil feed by fitting a short length of copper brake pipe & routing it so that it drips on the inside run of the chain as it leaves the front sprocket. This tends to help fling dirt away as the chain goes around the rear sprocket.
Try not to let the oiler run dry, as it can be a pain to bleed.
Great product when you get the flow right, which can change with ambient temperature.
Had these on previous bikes and got fed up of cleaning and lubing my current bikes chain. Went for the larger size as it fits nicely under the rear seat. The detailed instructions and fitting pictures on their website make it really easy to install if you got some practical abilities. So much easier on long trips. Might add the double V dispenser tube to get both sides of the chain done at the same time. Sportsbikeshop were excellent as always and the cheapest again!
One of the first things I always fit on my bike. Believe the hype.....saves time and hassle over cleaning and lubing the chain. Easy to install, easy to use....there are on-line videos to aid. There are a few different types of scottoiler to suit your needs too. The item is really well made and the last one I had was fitted to my bike for many years with never a bit if bother.......hence I've bought again for my new-to-me bike. Money well spent.
Best thing about the Scottoiler is they give you specific fitting instructions for most bikes. There were photos for my RE Interceptor showing exactly where to get the vacuum feed and mount the dispenser. So it ended up as a very neat installation.
Great kit easy to fit and set up. No messing around with spray lubes just top up and forget.
Best price on european market for probably best oiler.
Delivery take few days but it is normal to Poland.
Purchased and fitted and used. Difficult to find a space on the particular machine-a Royal Enfield Meteor 350. But once fitted away you go! Well worth having. Purchased because there was one on another machine I once owned and it was greatly valued looking after the drive chain.
Delivered on time, simple to fit had to fabricate brackets to suit my bike. Easy to operate. Brill
Excellent piece of kit, easy to fit and works fine. Excellent service by sportsbikeshop
Excellent piece of kit, easy to fit and set up.
I have used Scottoilers for years and rate them highly. In the past they have be fitted by a dealer, usually on puchasing a bike. This time I decided to do it myself and it went pretty smoothly except for fitting the vacuum cap to the carb on my Sprint Executive.
Used an hairdryer in the end which did the trick. Scottoiler and SBS were very helpful as well.
Clear instructions from scottoiler, good price and prompt delivery from sportsbikeshop.
Its a scottoiler, it oils your chain to prevent it from corrosion. Everybody knows what they are and what they do. I believe it does make your chain and sprockets last longer . But this does not mean chain cleaning and maintenance can be forgotten. The kits are very well made with all you need to make a nice neat install, loads of information on their own website with model specific fitting tips. But I say again fitting a scottoiler doesn't mean you can start to neglecting your chain and sprockets .
When you connect a vSystem motorcycle chain oiler to the bike you have a system that automatically gets to work when you start your motorcycle. Whilst it is operated by the engine vacuum, the vSystem oiler does not absorb any power or affect the performance of your engine because it is purely vacuum operated.
It is easily installed and can be fitted to most bikes in an hour or two.
What's in the box
The main components of the kit are a Reservoir Metering Valve (RMV), an Injector (which feeds oil onto the chain and sprocket from the chain oiler), a bottle of Scottoiler motorbike chain lube suitable for approximately 5,000 miles and the parts required for a variety of fitting options.
We see no reason for this not to fit your bikes.
This is compatible with the KTM 890 Adventure R, from 2021 onwards (up to this point in time)
The Dual Injector is an accessory and must be purchased separately.
We can confirm that Scottoiler do not list the V system to be compatible with your motorcycle. However, the E system is listed to fit.
The V System will not fit - the Scottoiler website states as below - Unfortunately we have not found a way of installing a Scottoiler vSystem on this model. Either no vacuum connection is available or accessing the vacuum connection takes professional help and a lot of time. For the moment we can only recommend fitting our electronic operated Scottoiler eSystem instead.
The V system will fit your bike with the standard fittings.
The Scottoiler V System will fit your Kawasaki ZZR1400.
You will be fine with the basic system for your Triumph
Scottoiler do list this as fitting your Ducati.
Scottoiler list the V System as fitting the MT-07, and so this will fit Tracer 700.
The scottoiler v system is compatible with the MT09 and comes with a range of fittings suitable for most bikes.
The V system will fit your CBF125, you will need to use adapter SA-0095BL.
