Verified Customer Reviews for Oxford Heated Premium Hot Grips
Customers rave about Oxford heated grips, highlighting their quality and effectiveness in cold conditions. Many find them easy to install, though some face challenges with flimsy connectors, often opting for stronger adhesives or modifications. The smart controller is a favorite feature, preventing battery drain. Despite some needing adjustments for a perfect fit, customers agree the warmth and comfort these grips provide make them an essential winter addition. Overall, they are praised as reliable and worthwhile investments, enhancing cold weather riding experiences.
These were easy to fit with instructions that were clear and concise. When fitted, tried before the final glue on, they work a treat. Finalised and glue on, time for a real ride on a cold March day. Didn't even need to turn them up beyond half way for them to be sufficiently warm and toasty, made the ride more enjoyable for sure. One thing to help out, screw the control block onto the mounting bracket befor mounting onto the handle bars, its harder when the bracket is mounted first, but that was my fault LOL.
I have tried other heated grips and none have ever worked as well as these.
Multiple settings and they can get too hot which is what you want!
Well made, they last well and have a good battery cut off feature saving hassle when fitting.
Low cost compared to OEM grips. Heat up quickly and get too hot on 100% setting! I thought I wouldn’t like the controller compared to the integrated ones but actually prefer the convenience of it. The bracket supplied didn’t work with my Triumph street twin but I was able to modify it and add to it to make a bracket. Painted black and it looks ok. Easy to install but the wiring connectors are poor quality and I had to cut them off and use crimps connectors. Hard to get the grips on but heating them up first made it easier.
Very nice grips, just what I wanted. Got them fitted by a professional as I would have made a horlicks of it.
work as intended, easy to install. gives way more than needed.
Fitted the Oxford Heated Premium Hot Grips – Touring and they’ve made a huge difference on colder rides. They heat up quickly and the different heat settings are easy to adjust while riding. The grips feel comfortable and well made, not slippery even in the wet.
Installation was straightforward and everything needed was in the box. Would definitely recommend to anyone riding through autumn and winter. Great value and a worthwhile upgrade.
Easy to fit reliable heated grips. I bought these to replace the ones I fitted 11 years and 66000 miles ago, eventually the RH grip gave up. So they last very well!
Great service once again from the SportsBikeShop. Ordered a new set of Oxford heated grips as my Honda factory ones are faulty. Fab design and super easy to fit. No messing no cutting. PERFECT
This is the third bike I have fitted these too. Perfect for the job
Bought these for my z650 and my son had to come and fit them I wouldn t have been able to do it all good
My mechanic mate who fitted them reckons that, for the price, they're unbeatable.
Couple things to watch out for:
1. If you have a round clutch perch (the part you bolt your heated grip control unit to), you may need to source your own bolts. I had to do this because the stock bolts aren't long enough to screw in with the back panel, and the ones provided with the new grips are the same length as the stock bolts! (For reference, I installed these on a kawasaki er6f 2013)
2. You will most likely need to bring your own zip-ties. To cleanly route everything I use maybe 7 zip-ties, but the product only comes with 3. Now 3 might be enough, but more makes things easier
Other than that, it all worked alright
The grips themselves work really well. 100% heat is almost too hot to hold after about 15 min. But its super easy to go down the heat levels using the control unit.
Got this product after reading reviews on heated grips and watching youtube videos on fitting. Very easy to fit I just took my time and perfect.
Great item - fits great as expected
Already have them on my SV 1000..these are for my 900 hornet. Easy to fit and they really make winter riding easier.
Excellent product easy to fit quick delivery
Certainly do the job, had to shorten the wiring as it was too long to hide on my speed 400 but simple job if you have a soldering iron
Used these on several bikes, straight forward to fit warm-up quickly and plenty of settings. I've bought them before and I'll probably buy them again. They definitely help me to keep riding longer in to the winter.
