Our customers say…
Customers highly recommend Oxford heated grips for their ease of installation, excellent warmth, and reliable performance. They fit well on various bike models and have a smart controller to prevent battery drain. Although generally praised, several customers noted issues with flimsy or bulky connectors, and some experienced intermittent power problems. Nonetheless, these grips are valued for their effectiveness, particularly in cold weather, with many customers expressing satisfaction and repeat purchases. Overall, a strongly endorsed product for maintaining warm hands while riding.

Oxford Heated Grips
03 November 2024 by Mark H
As I'm not mechanically minded I had the help of a friend fit the grips with me, (more him than me) but they were easy enough to do. I've had two rides with them and they are perfect, I have heated gloves but the battery won't last a full day so got the grips. I was surprised just how warm they get and had to turn them down to 30% heat. Wish id bought them earlier... fully recommended but you will need two people to fit them.

Oxford heated grips
21 October 2024 by Ken H
Bought to replace the original gs heated grips which are way too expensive.
The oxford premium grips are brilliant - but only if you follow the installation instructions to the letter. I tried wiring them through a auxiliary fuse box and they didn't work properly. So I started again following the instructions and they were great. Really warm even through my winter gloves.
Sportsbike shop as usual were brilliant at getting my order delivered really quickly. Definitely recommend getting your bike gear through Sportsbikeshop.

Basically Disappointed
19 October 2024 by John C
I have a set of these fitted to my Grom and they are great, however the Cruiser grips fitted to my Rebel are way too large in diameter making it very uncomfortable. Also the 'smart shut off' function that works perfectly on the Grom is not working on the Rebel. I contacted Oxford but they did not want to know and have told me that any assistance must come from the retailer.

06 October 2024 by Lee C
These grips deffo have a premium feel , well packaged and everything you need to fit them .

Installation on my can am spyder f3s was a little tricky but the grips come with a comprehensive fitting kit

If I had one criticism the electrical connections are a little on poor side and not waterproof. With some heat shrink and insulation tape sorted that problem

Service from sbs was second to none as always . They are a helpful bunch and keep it up

Great product, superb value!
02 October 2024 by Mark P
I have purchased and fitted several of these over the years to different bikes. Always straight forward to install and a good quality product. Very hot, does the job perfectly. This particular purchase was for a 2024 CBR500R Honda. Just need to file the throttle tube down slightly to aid fitment, trim end of throttle grip so that when the bar end weight is refitted, the throttle does not stick. No trimming necessary on the left grip. Fits perfectly. Would recommend.

Questions and Answers

Questions and Answers

  • Do these fit the triumph trident 660? Thanks

    November 25, 2024

We would suggest measuring the lengths of the grips currently on your bike, and comparing those against the measurements found on each individual product page (Sports, Touring, Adventure etc) to find the grips that would be the best suited for your model bike.

  • Is the maximum setting of the Premium and Advanced grips the same temperature?

    March 13, 2023

The temperature will depend on the ambient temperature and the setting which is used, however the 100% setting will be the same on both the Premium and Advanced. Our supplier isn't able to provide us with an exact temperature, however have stated that if used on the maximum setting, which is only advised when the temperature is below 0 Celsius, you will notice a sufficient heat coming from the grips.

  • I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S 2017 can you advise which grips I need to order. The handlebars are the factory fitted ones.

    March 10, 2023

Providing your bike has 22mm handlebars then these will fit no trouble at all, however we would suggest measuring the lengths of the grips currently on your bike, and comparing those against the measurements found on each individual product page (Sports, Touring, Adventure etc) to find the grips that would be the best suited for your model bike.

  • Hello. I have a Honda Cb650f from 2017. will these fit on this model? Thanks

    February 19, 2020

The Sports or the Touring grips should be fine. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on each item. If you can measure the grips that are already fitted, the ones to purchase are the grips that require the least trimming to fit.

  • Recently bought a Honda Hornet 600 (2006 naked) could you please advise if these would fit my motorbike? Thank you

    April 1, 2019

    March 26, 2019

The Sports grips have a different grip pattern and length to the Touring grips. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on each item. • Hi, I have a er6f 2015. will these fit on this model? Thanks

    February 5, 2019

  • Good day. I have a Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 2018 I was told that my bike has 1 inch dia bars is there away you could confirm this and tell me the best one's for my bike please, there are so many numbers I am not sure which ones to choose from. Thank you for any help you can be.

    January 15, 2019

As far as we are aware, the bars are 22mm diameter, but we would recommend checking this with your Kawasaki dealer. If they do measure 1 inch, the only Oxford grips that would fit will be the Cruiser grips.

    October 29, 2018

The grips should not drain the battery when the engine is running, unless there is a fault with your motorcycle's charging system. If the grips are left on when the ignition is turned off, the controller will sense a drop in the bikes battery voltage, and turn the grips off.
