Oxford Heated Grips
09 April 2024 by Anonymous
I have these on a number of bikes as they are the best, easy to fit and easy to use. As good as if not better than some of the big manufacturers own brand grips.

Revolutionizing Comfort: Oxford Heated Grips
19 March 2024 by Charles C
Absolutely thrilled with my Oxford Heated Motorcycle Grips! From chilly morning commutes to long rides in unpredictable weather, these grips have been a game-changer. Installation was a breeze, and the level of warmth they provide is remarkable. Even on the coldest days, my hands stay cozy and comfortable, allowing me to maintain a secure grip on the handlebars. The build quality is top-notch, ensuring durability for countless rides ahead. I can't recommend these grips enough to fellow riders looking for reliable warmth and performance. Five stars without hesitation!"

Very easy to fit and is great on a cold day, the instructions were pretty good, I watch some YouTube videos for some finer tips.
As I had to cut away a router ridge on the accelerator.

Hot Stuff
12 March 2024 by Anonymous
Fitted these to my brand new ADV350. Very fiddly getting power lead through the panels to the battery but grips look really good and get very hot quickly. Will be cutting the plastic connector blocks and soldering the wires instead.
Arrived immediately as always and great value for money.

Brilliant hot grips
12 March 2024 by Gordon P
These oxford hot grips are brilliant for my hands on my Kawasaki ZX12R. They take a while to fit to the bike, in order to fit them and route the cables safely but once fitted they are great addition. I wish I'd bought them years ago now. I have rode in minus conditions and my hands were nice and warm. Only needed 50 percent power as they are very effective. Minimum setting is all I need if temps are above freezing. The battery saver mode is peace of mind. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks oxford. A great product.

Not the most upto date version?

Old style connections are iffy but grips are great.
Lots of overspill on the moulding particularly on throttle side. Nor Sportsbikeshop.co.uk problem.
Easy to fit and easy to use.
Recommended for the price.

Esy to fit. They get nice and hot in use and the battery saver mode gives you peace of mind. Would be nice to see waterproof connections. A must, for not much money now.

Very Effective
29 February 2024 by John C
Very easy to fit, provided you take care and dry-fit before adding super glue. They get nice and hot in use and the battery saver mode works really well, saving the need to splice into an ignition feed. Would have been 5 stars if only the connectors were sealed.

Easy to fit and super hot
21 February 2024 by Ian G
I bought these to fit to my 2023 MT09. They were a good fit but I had to fit a washer to my bar end weight to avoid fouling the throttle side.

I didn't use the controller, I swapped the Oxford connectors on each grip for Yamaha male connectors and plugged straight into the Yamaha loom (they provide 2 x female connectors for their own grips). I can control the grips in the dash with 10 levels of heat.

The grips were the right length and perfect for the diameter. Super glue is provided to fix to the bars.

You get what you pay for
16 February 2024 by Kev
The heated grips themselves seem to work OK, however there are numerous areas that are quite cheap and nasty. The methods provided to mount on the bike are not "universal" and the only way I could get the heater controller to fit on my bike's bars was a cheap, thin bit of tin that fitted between only one bolt of the clutch bracket and had to be bent so that the controller faced the right way - why not supply a simple U-bolt and its own bracket? Also the electrical connectors were also cheap and nasty huge blocks of white plastic that you have to wrap in black electrical tape not just to hide these massive white blocks but also to offer some form of insulation and waterproof protection as they have to be fitted at the very front of the bike and hence exposed to the all the weather. A reasonable product let down by poor parts and finishings. A good job they were discounted and reasonably inexpensive.

Proper hot
14 February 2024 by Philip B
Really simple to install, but pay attention to positioning. I very nearly covered my horn switch, only got away with it as I spotted it instantly before the glue set. Battery safety works well and on max they will melt your hands in summer gloves, so start high then put it on 50% to keep your hands nice. Better than the standard ones fitted on my GSA as these have more settings.

Oxford grips are a must!!
14 February 2024 by Chris
Oxford heated grips are a great addition to any motorbike.

I was desperate to get out and about but with the cold weather my hands were frozen within 10 minutes of riding, but what a difference a wee bit of heat makes. No excuses now

The good and not so good.
07 February 2024 by Christopher C
These heated grips work very well, the only downside is the quality of the electrical connectors as they are not weatherproof. It is likely they will corrode over time.
The ordering process was very good and delivery swift.

Oxford heated grips

They were simple to fit with lots of extra wiring which I managed to tuck out of the way, fitted them to my Voge 300 rally and seem to be getting hotter with each use.

Questions and Answers

Questions and Answers

  • Is the maximum setting of the Premium and Advanced grips the same temperature?

    March 13, 2023

The temperature will depend on the ambient temperature and the setting which is used, however the 100% setting will be the same on both the Premium and Advanced. Our supplier isn't able to provide us with an exact temperature, however have stated that if used on the maximum setting, which is only advised when the temperature is below 0 Celsius, you will notice a sufficient heat coming from the grips.

  • I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S 2017 can you advise which grips I need to order. The handlebars are the factory fitted ones.

    March 10, 2023

Providing your bike has 22mm handlebars then these will fit no trouble at all, however we would suggest measuring the lengths of the grips currently on your bike, and comparing those against the measurements found on each individual product page (Sports, Touring, Adventure etc) to find the grips that would be the best suited for your model bike.

  • Hello. I have a Honda Cb650f from 2017. will these fit on this model? Thanks

    February 19, 2020

The Sports or the Touring grips should be fine. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on each item. If you can measure the grips that are already fitted, the ones to purchase are the grips that require the least trimming to fit.

  • Recently bought a Honda Hornet 600 (2006 naked) could you please advise if these would fit my motorbike? Thank you

    April 1, 2019

    March 26, 2019

The Sports grips have a different grip pattern and length to the Touring grips. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on each item. If you can measure the grips that are already fitted, the ones to purchase are the grips that require the least trimming to fit.

  • Hi, I have a er6f 2015. will these fit on this model? Thanks

    February 5, 2019

These will be fine. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on each item. If you measure the grips that you already have fitted, you may find that the Touring grips are a more suitable length.

  • Good day. I have a Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 2018 I was told that my bike has 1 inch dia bars is there away you could confirm this and tell me the best one's for my bike please, there are so many numbers I am not sure which ones to choose from. Thank you for any help you can be.

    January 15, 2019

As far as we are aware, the bars are 22mm diameter, but we would recommend checking this with your Kawasaki dealer. If they do measure 1 inch, the only Oxford grips that would fit will be the Cruiser grips.

  • Do these grips drain battery? I bought these before and it did kill my battery although I'm not sure if those grips were faulty as they never actually got warm enough when you turned them on. I was told to return them for a refund as there might have been a fault with the heat controller.

    October 29, 2018

The grips should not drain the battery when the engine is running, unless there is a fault with your motorcycle's charging system. If the grips are left on when the ignition is turned off, the controller will sense a drop in the bikes battery voltage, and turn the grips off.
