Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Works well with Spidi jacket which is what it was purchased for. It is quite stiff but feels like it would offer good level of protection which is really what it was purchased for.
Protector is good quality and is designed to be vented against the back so doesn’t become too sweaty. Rode in 32C and all good paired with the Spidi airflow jacket. Biggest issue is it’s attached to the jacket with 2x small square Velcro patches. Looks and feels much flimsier than it needs to be. Not a fan of this type of fixing…why not a pocket to keep it secure??
Great Spidi quality
It seems to be made of good quality materials. Then again if it's CE 2 approved it should be.
Fits comfortably into the spidi jacked, when if they use this silly Velcro attachment system, rather than a proper pocket to hold it in place.
Not much else to add.
One of the better back protectors I have had in terms of size and fit plus this one extends further down the back than most. No faults with the back protector but wish the back protector fitted into a pocket in the jacket rather than just relying on velcro fastenings.
