Oxford's Global 1.0 punches well above its weight, with every feature carefully considered for maximum usability. Offering a lightweight, stretchy fit with all the reassurance of CE AA protection rating and laminate technology, the Global 1.0 provides everything needed for long hours spent in the saddle in unpredictable weather.

The external construction features Oxford's Dry2Dry® laminate technology, which bonds 450D stretch polyester to a waterproof and breathable TPU membrane (10,000 mm x 20,0000 g/m2/24hrs). This technology keeps the jacket lightweight and comfortable, and drastically reduces the bulk compared to traditional 'drop liner' waterproof jackets.

The twin fold-back direct vents at the chest help channel cooling air flow when needed, whilst water-resistant zippers ensure a dry ride when the vents are not in use. The passive vent at the upper back acts as an exhaust for warm air, and the removable thermal lining - which uses sonic welding to lock the insulation in place whilst keeping the bulk of the liner down - ensures a great fit when worn fitted, or removed from the outer shell.

Lightweight, ultra-flexible Flexprotex® CE Level 2 protectors come pre-fitted as standard. Formed from advanced thermoplastic elastomer and engineered with a repeating hexagonal rib lattice, the structure dissipates impact energy through controlled deformation while preserving exceptional flexibility. This geometric design delivers uncompromising protection with all-day comfort, remaining virtually undetectable in normal wear. The jacket also features pockets that can be upgraded with two different sizes of back protector, and a chest protector (sold separately).

Large mesh pockets at the side of the torso act as a handy place to stash gloves or other items when off the bike, and four internal pockets (five when fitted with the thermal liner) provide plenty of additional storage options. The jacket also includes both long and short connecting jacket-to-pant zips, for attaching to either the matching Oxford Global pants or any textile pants within the Oxford range.
