I bought these to cover my Keis heated gloves. They work very well however they do need some sort of rain wiper.
They do the job and keep your gloves dry, but are a bit flimsy and a quite hard to pick things up when wearing them.
Used these in a lot of torrential rain that cause the recent floods in Scotland. 130 or so miles and pretty much bone dry. They don't breath so some moisture builds up from putting gloves on and off but it's a game changer for dry gloves and warm hands.
A little to get used to the baggy mit and definitely reduce response time to brake a little. Ride accordingly.
They were used on a bike with hand guard protection so may catch wind on a naked bike and make grabbing the brake & clutch a challenge.
Material is light and see creases in the waterproof membrane so expect they will start to leak after a while.
I found these to be a good fit and do not restrict the operation of controls and switches. They kept my gloves dry when recently caught in a downpour and they provide an extra layer of protection against the cold. All-in-all, a good product and worth the money, in my opinion.
Expect these might be ok on a twist and go scooter but they were awful to use on a sportsbike. Position of the thumb restricted movement when braking, like riding in an oven glove.
Kept in tank bag and used for a couple of hours over a summer glove, they did the job but I will look for a 5-finger alternative now.
Bought these to replace my old HeineGericke over gloves which have had their day.. I've had a few pairs of so called "waterproof" gloves over the years, but the rain always seems to find a way in, so I find these the best solution. Help to keep fingers a bit warmer too.
Nice to put in your bag if needed .
Great handy overmitt to protect your gloves if you get caught in the rain, bought these for a trip had to use them and they kept my gloves dry in torrential rain, I would recommend these. Great value for money. They are well made and compact.
Haven't used yet, but seem like a better idea than trying to get gloves on and off in the wet. Had some wax cotton ones in the 70s which worked a treat once you got used to mittens
Great value for money. Have used these once in rain and they were pretty good. Was getting tired of gloves getting wet and these ticked the box.
Does what it says on the tin, once you have the correct size, I had and old pair 5 years old but did not protect very well i never realised they have a shelf life of 2 - 3 years, these fitted well and kept the rain out no issues with them at all. Great just remember the shelf life :-)
Been ok so far no complaints
So easy to carry under the seat or in a tank bag. Easy to put on and don't interfere with using the switches. Ideal for nippy mornings too even if it's dry. Can't really go wrong for the money
Do not bother, all the seams rippped open within 20 minutes, not much more I can say !!!
Bought these for the wife after a nightmare getting gloves dry after getting caught in torrential rain. I tried them and thin enough that they don't interfere with using controls when riding. Not tested how waterproof they are yet (hence 4 stars) but should be fine as they seem well made. No worries about recommending them.
These are perfect if you get caught out in the rain. Easy to carry and work well.
I was happy to try this product. Its very cheap and was exactly what I was expecting. I will recommend to anyone.
These over mitts work well to keep your gloves and hands dry while riding in the rain. Their water resistance declines with wear but they are cheap enough to buy another pair when they start to let the rain in. I'm on my second pair, the first lasted about six months.
