It helps reduce the volume of the exhaust without losing the great sound.
Without the baffle, the GP2 sounds great but it is a bit too much.
It fits snuggly, so don't get a cheap copy as you will be disappointed.

100DB noise limit

Purchased as ticket through "noise testing". Works great, not technically for my Arrow can, but Arrow's oval shape seems to be universal.
