Probably the best you can buy for the money

The L2K is really comfortable to wear. I purchased it and rode home with it on. At first I was a little worried that I would have a tough ride home but it moulded to my body really quickly as it moulds to you with the heat your body gives off. It was really supportive and gave me a lot of confidence with the amount of protective coverage it gave me. It doesn't sit too low and so it doesn't get hiked up when your sat upright.

I am 5ft 11" and have a 38" chest and so i went for a size S which fits perfectly. It fits under my race suit with no issues, you might just need a little help pushing it down a bit when you get your suit on.

The shoulder straps are super easy to adjust to get the perfect fit.

The velcro straps that go around your waist are very clever. They have a double pull adjustment that secure comfortably and can be fine tuned to help you feel good when wearing it.

I give this spine protector 10/10 and I'm glad that the team at Harlow SBS recommended it.

I will be buying more Forcefield products give the high level of quality you get.

Essential Kit

Most Trackday Companies now insisting on the use of a back protector. This is very sensible and good drills as even the best aka Messers Rossi & Marquez crash! Just as with a helmet why would you not get the best protection you can afford after all can you put a price on either your Head or your Back. This back protector direct from Sportsbikeshop is excellent quality arrived quickly very well packaged at a great price with a discount #Win/Win. Don't take chances wear one on both Road and Track. If the worse should happen you'll be glad you did. Get yours now your back will thank you for it! Comfortable and easy to wear.

I'm 5'8 11 stone and got the large forcefield back protector as it had a good review and a discount at the time of writing this, it's a good fit and I don't really notice that I've got it on under my leathers (one piece) I would give it 5 stars but I haven't tried it in "anger" and hope I never will but I'm very happy with it. Ps delivered on time as well.

Excellent service as always from sportsbikeshop and the price was right. It was 4th time lucky with the Forcefield l2k back protector after trying 3 previous and never totally feeling comfortable with them, this one felt pretty much perfect and after reading the reviews of it being one of the safest out there it was a no brainier.

Value your back!

So pleased that I bought this, I feel a deal less vulnerable.
It hasn't magically taken up the shape of my back yet but is starting to and is already comfortable.
Sizing: I am about 5 feet 11 and bought the large, it is fine but the bottom of it is only a bit above the saddle when sitting on my bike so I could have probably got away with a medium so bear this in mind or even better try one on in the shop if possible.
Overall a very well designed and made piece of kit that you should consider if your jacket does not have back armour.

Fits snugly to back with easy adjustment and feels secure. Looks and feels to be well constructed and finished. Fits under my textile jacket and not obvious that you're wearing it. I'm still going through my license training so haven't done any long rides yet but so far its been comfortable in mild weather and I soon forget I'm wearing it. I was strongly advised to get one by both an experienced rider an A&E doctor. For the money, it makes sense.

Loads of protection

Superb bit of kit. Really comfortable to wear and lots of adjustments. After a bit of riding, you don't even know you're wearing it as it moulds to your body. Not too hot and loads of protection that makes you feel at ease. Best I've tried!

Rassuring kit

Well made and solid feel to it but surprisingly comfortable. Worn straight away on a 400 mile trip to Plymouth then a week in Portugal in 28 degree heat. Always comfortable and the vented design definitely helped compared to the one it replaced.

Suprisingly Comfortable

Really happy with this product, the sizing is true to the guide and after a few mins with it on and jacket over the top, it moulds nicely to your back and feels very comfortable.
Doesn't feel restrictive in any way and straps don't pinch. Great buy, very happy so far.

Your back is worth protecting

Bought to replace a previous back protector that took a bash in an accident but was a few years old so was worth replacing.
I always wear a separate back protector and it had to be one which passed CE level 2 for protection.
Forcefield's measurement guide said I needed the large size so originally purchased that but on receiving it realised it was too large for me and swapped it for the medium which was a much better fit.
Hope I never have to try out its protection qualities though

Quality back protector

Very impressed with the feel and general material quality of the protector. As others have said it feels clumsy under leathers to start with but once your body has warmed it up it feels really comfortable. Not tried it on a track day yet but I'm sure it will become my go to protector.

Buy with confidence

As expected from brand/reviews, good quality. Fit is nice however the adjustable strap buckles currently sit on my collar bone, but can probably be adjusted out of the way. Comfortable under new (tight) 1 piece leathers and good back coverage/ protection, albeit not tested. Buy with confidence.
