Sometimes it rains when it’s warm. These are the gloves that give good feel and keep your hands dry…
Customers have praised these gloves for their initial snug fit which softens up with wear, providing excellent comfort and control. The gloves are noted for their waterproof capabilities, durability, and overall build quality. Though some users experienced minor sizing issues or discomfort from seams, most are pleased with the performance in various weather conditions. The gloves are particularly commended for their high-quality leather, adequate protection, and practicality during rides, despite not being the warmest option available.
So far it’s been a great quality glove, it definitely needs a bit of breaking in (slightly tight around certain fingers when gripping the bars) but I’m sure once their worn in they will be spot on! Currently ride 100 miles a day/night, all weathers. So far they have been waterproof and warm!
Great gloves, with nice little bonus that was not advertised. They work on touch screen!
Index and thumb fingers have an overlay leather pad on tips that sort of work on capacitive toch screen, nice surprise as not advertised anywhere.
I have fairly small hands and tried medium size in different store in Doncaster. Found them really tight and uncomfortable so ordered size large from sportbikeshop online. They arrived quickly but were too big so I took a ride to Leeds to try another pair of medium which fitted really well and superbikeshop exchanged them with no bother. So try before you buy is the key. They mould to your hands in matter of few days.
Last week we took a ride to the French Alps where temperature change with time of day and altitude. It was round 10C in the morning and my hands did not feel cold. In the afternoon it reached 29C and the gloves did not feel too warm either, still OK to wear. I dont like to ride bike below 10C so for me this temp range is ideal.
They performed very well in heavy rain too. Rain fall of 30mm and my hands were just slightly moist, not wet. The leather surface was absolutely soaked but the goretex did its trick and did not let anything through.
They are comfortable to wear for long trips once they take the shape of your hands. They feel secure on your hands too.
One downside is that the leather surface on knuckle protectors scratch easily I think. I bought them with a scratch mark on them already, highlighted at the counter but this was the last pair they had in store and they fitted me perfectly plus needed them quick for my Alpine trip so I couldn't wait for postal exchange they offered and took them.
On motorway toll boot in France I had to take them off for the ticket and quickly pushed them between my steering and fairing of the bike and got another scratch on the knuckle protector as a result. My fault for sure but wisch the protectors were made from different material that does not scratch so easily.
For the price I paid they performe really well and overall I am happy with them.
At the SBS price, these are a quality bargain. For me they replace a pair of 7yr old Rukkas that have been excellent. Didn't want to now spend Rukka money, these Street Touring gloves are under half the price of a Rukka equiv. Size-wise they're a snug fit for a Large and are slightly stiff, but one decent wear in and they're loosening up and will fit great. First ride with them included heavy rain and being Gore-Tex obviously they're waterproof. But the left hand index finger visor wipe blade if the best I've had in 40+yrs of riding, works really well 1st wipe every time (unlike most). Protection is good and the hook/loop wrist fastening means they won't come off in a fall. I use this type glove most of the winter (with heated grips) plus spring & autumn. They make an ok summer waterproof glove too, there's no warm lining, this suits me great. So if you want a quality, safe, Gore-Tex glove for use much of the year use, these are perfect.
Tried the Xl size far to big ( even though my palm size measurements were for Xl) sent them back and sportbike shop sent out a large size , these got perfectly, when they have stretched /broken in they will be a fantastic fit, cannot comment on their waterproof quantities yet as I haven't encountered any rain yet
I was looking for a 3 seasons waterproof glove. These fit the bill, have a great inbult visor wipe and most importantly the lining stays where it's intended.
I found it easy to find my way around the online store. Very good price, I was promised next day! & what do you know they arrived next day. So they will get first chance of my next purchase.
From the size guide I should be an XL 10.5cm across palm but I'm a size 9 large in most makes of gloves so I ordered the L and XL.
Although the XL glove went on nice the fingers were far too long, the L fit was a tighter fit with just a slight room in fingers.
I chose the L for trip next day guessing they would give a bit, if you read the label unlike me it says to go for a tighter fit!
Thicker than my normal summer gloves and seem very well made. Didn't leak during heavy rain showers here and Germany.
Return of the XL was easy and hassle free.
Nice quality, sizing chart was accurate, I wanted a waterproof glove for spring summer and autumn, these are ideal, not a thick winter glove
I received the gloves next day from Sportsbikeshop great as usual, gloves were a bit tight on first putting on but after a few hours riding they proceeded to fit like a glove and are perfect now, would definitely recommend, happy boy.
Literally fit like a glove!
These leather, Gore Tex, CE rated gloves are exceptional.
Reasonably priced and supplied in a timely and professional manner by Sportsbikeshop.
Mainly good fit, but I have short thumbs so a bit of slack in the thumb. Very nicely made, comfortable. Feel like they will mould to my hand shape nicely over time. Cuff is a good fit with my jacket sleeve.
They are really comfy gloves, yet to test their waterproofing capabilities.
The only aspect I do not like is the fact that they are not long enough to cover my jacket's sleeve, but this may vary for other people.
Worn these gloves in rain and sunny days and can confirm that they are waterproof and cool enough up to 20c ambient. The visor wipe on the left index finger is very effective. Good quality gloves.
I bought these gloves for a late summer trip to Spain & France. As yet I haven't been able to try them out in the wet but you can't go wrong with GoreTex. I ordered a large and found then a bit too snug so I returned them for an XL pair. These are a much better fit so I would recommend going larger if in any doubt. There are high quality, comfy and attractive gloves
These gloves are light, comfortable and waterproof, I've yet to test them for protection but they certainly feel strong without too much heavy plastic. Seriously good gloves I'm very pleased.
Not tested the waterproofing yet. But gloves are good
Taking one pair of gloves on a big trip is always a gamble with the weather as the perfect gloves for staying warm in...
