Falco Avantour 2 Boots - Brown

Ok im going to be as fair as possible ive owned these boots for 12 months now
good points
these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned
bad points
buckle fell off on tour after 10 months, sportsbikeshop sent back to falco for repair under warrenty ,
also found out these are not waterproof, socking wet feet after a down pour, falco apparently tested boots and said they are ok belive me when I say they are not.
sportsbikeshop as always have being brill, however I'm still left with a really comfortable non waterproof set of boots

Great service as always by SBS. These boots are quite comfortable and not overly bulky. However, they aren't as warm as I'd hoped (leading me to buy gerbing socks!), which was then main reason why I looked at this style of boot. The colour is much darker than the picture suggested which was disappointing (almost an "off black". The straps don't hold their setting either, so it's a faff each time you are putting them on. So I'm kind of indifferent about them, but I've worn them now so hoping they'll grow on me

I've only ridden in them twice so far so can't speak of quality/longevity here really. They fit well. The clasps feel cheap at first compared to MX boots but they do work really well. Quite a good design in my opinion.

The toe box is very soft though so the gear shift lever does press into your toes. All of my other boots have had a stronger plate in that area to reinforce it. This one is far too thin. I bought these for the look and the ankle support whilst still maintaining the ability to walk. They fit those 2 criteria very well. They do need to redo the toe area on revision 2 if they continue them. I ride mostly off road as opposed to tarmac.
