Perfect boots
01 October 2024 by Daron M
Worn for the first time and as with all new leather boots they will take a little time to wear in fully.
However they do give enough whilst charging gear and braking.
Walking is comfortable although still new.
They look really good and go really well with my RST leather touring pants worn inside the top of these boots.
With only normal socks they're OK although I think next ride I'll wear better socks for the Autumn weather next ride out.

RST Ambush supposed waterproof boots
11 September 2024 by David P
I bought these boots to tour with as I have another pair of Spada boots for day to day riding and after reading other reviews they seemed just what I wanted and at a decent price, I have used the boots twice this year once for a tour of Spain and the Pyrenees and secondly for a tour of Scotland last week where it did not disappoint and it rained and after around an hour or so of rain that familiar feeling of firstly my right foot then shortly afterwards my left foot getting wet were felt I was wearing goretex and waterproof trousers so theres no way the water was trickling down my legs into the boots I was left feeling disappointed as I really like the boots but now they seem to let water in within about 20 mins of rain and wet feet is the result.
Sportsbikeshop have been brilliant and are sending them back to RST for testing/analysis I'm really hoping I get a positive outcome to this maybe I just got unlucky and received a dodgy pair as all other reviews seem to be from riders with dry feet . . for now anyway.

Seem like great Adv boots
04 August 2024 by Scot W
They aren't a light brown like in the picture though, more like a normal shade of brown most other boots are in, definitely not dark brown either, I think they look great.
Only worn them for the hour and a half home but they were warm and comfortable. Also the adjustable buckles means I can loosen them off and wear thicker winter socks, or tighten them up and just wear normal thin socks so that's good.
1 buckle on the bottom of the right boot was a little bit loose, didn't snap closed like the rest so I just used a 2.5mm Allen key or whatever it is and swapped it with a snappier one at the top that's not under as much pressure when walking. Seems to have have fixed any issue that may arrise in the future and snaps shut nice and tight.

Pretty good…
17 December 2023 by Luke J
I've used these over 2 weeks for 500 miles in all conditions down to -1 degree and pouring rain on my GS Adventure.
They are very comfortable, warm and waterproof and cheap. They look good and the leather seems nice. The negatives however, the bolts in the buckles have rusted already (had to use XCP to prevent any further rusting) the buckles themselves especially the lower ones don't give me much faith, sometimes they just pop undone. And the glue around the sole of the boot and leather appears to be very slightly coming apart.
If you absolutely cannot afford a more premium boot then Im sure you'll be chuffed with these. Personally in hindsight I'd probably look at spending a little more for better quality.

Good quality and fit for purpose
19 July 2023 by pete
Have only used these for a month or so and done appox 1000 miles on tour. Through a fair bit of rain. Boots are very comfortable and the fittings seem to be very robust and quality. In the rain the boots were waterproof whilst wearing on the outside of the trouser. Happy with them.

Brit boots

Always have issues with boots due to broad feet, but these boots have been comfortable from the off, feel strong with easy opening and closing clasps they also are reasonably easy to walk about when off the bike

So far so great
20 November 2022 by Joe
I have always struggled to find a waterproof boot that manages to live up to its claim of being waterproof. Sometimes they are waterproof for a short while and then start leaking, others just let your toes wrinkle from day one.
I usually get a sportier boot and I've realised that the toe slider is a weak spot, so wanted to try out a boot with more of a touring style for comparison.
RST gear is always top quality and these boots are no exception. As soon as I tried them on I knew they were the ones I wanted.
They do make it look like you have small feet, as the calf/shin part appears much chunkier than the foot (I have size 10 feet and got a 44). But they are solid and I feel fully protected. The only part that feels less protected than when I get racing/sports boots is the ankle. It has ankle protection but it's not as much as I'm used to. It's a minor thing.
In the rain these leave my feet bone dry, and I've been caught in many downpours since purchase. I've been stuck in rain for well over an hour, sometimes a couple of times in a day with commuting. So far, so great. Obviously the real test will be time, but I'm very impressed right now and they have kept my feet and toes bone dry.

Comfortable and well constructed
29 October 2022 by Matt
These boots appear very well made and are sized accurately. My only reservation before buying them was the MX style buckles but they are easy to use and are made from quality materials. Haven't yet tested how waterproof the boots are. A great product from a British brand, backed up with superb service from Sportsbikeshop.

FANTASTIC BOOTS
25 September 2022 by Scott R
I have very wide feet, so am wary of buying any boots, but this was a fantastic fit from the off!
Took a few days to settle in, but after that they fit like a dream.

Sturdy comfortable boots
27 May 2022 by Garry R
These are well made and sturdy boots. I have wide feet so was pleasantly surprised that these were comfortable in my actual size rather than having to go a size larger. Also easy to get in and out of unlike some others. Personally I also think they look good. Price also good.
With respect to Sportsbikeshop it was the normal professional friendly service; I normally buy on line but got these from the Leeds shop.
