Shad SH23 Black Panniers - 46 Litre

Purchased shad 32 panniers over larger one's to avoid making the bike too bulky for filtering moving in and out of the garage etc Really good quality, easy to use, great product, exactly what I wanted

Good product, fits the brackets firmly. A bit on the wide side. Unfortunately there's no handle built into the panniers so not easy to take off the bike to carry so had to get an inner removable bag.

These are perfect for what I needed. Not too big and don't make the bike too wide, but also have plenty of space for what I need. Like previous reviewer 'Ed' I have also fitted these to my 2019 CB500X, in my case using a couple of extra nuts with some slightly longer bolts to space it slightly away from the grab rail - a tip I found on CB500X Facebook pages! It still very slightly knocks the grab rail when closing the box, but otherwise fine, and not in contact when actually closed. As 'Ed' says, without the grab rail I can't see there being any issues at all.

Very sturdy panniers. Very easy to hang and remove from the rails. Spacious enough for 1 person travelling. Not too bulky looking on the bike either. Good slim look to them and a very good design. Very happy with these.

I have not used them yet so my review is not based on travel experience. I will have that experience soon. They are light and plastic their are made from look hard enough to be sturdy. Better look then GiVI panniers about the same price. Closing lids are a bit on the soft side so I reckon that better be patient to close them. They look neat on sides of the bike. Filtering should be a big problem but I have not tired yet. The only problem I see with distance between my exhaust pipe and the pannier / suzuki dl /. I hope it is not going to melt down at some point but I do believe that was thought through during design process. I could tell more after real trip with them.

Light and look great when fitted to the Shap 3P rails, but it's very annoying that the 3P rails have to be modified to fit these panniers. Adapter is supplied, but this means larger panniers will not fit without reversing the modification.

After taking some advice on the UK CB500X FB Group I took the plunge and ordered the Shad SH23 Panniers and 3P Mounting kit.
Despite the UK Shad website saying the SH23's are not compatible with a CB500X - they are, as long as you don't have the original Honda pillion grab rails. My bike is a 2020 model with the OE Honda rack fitted in place of the grab rails and the 3P kit and SH23's fit just fine. Shad need to update their website!!

Great quality top opening which suits what I use them for well. Well made. 23L each is more than enough for me, but bigger ones are available.

Shad Panniers 23, wanted lockable storage for my Kawasaki Z900 RS. The Shad 23 are excellent, 100% watertight. They look great on the bike aswell. Would definitely recommend.

Happy with the capacity on my small bike - locking mechanism installs confidence with basic fixation to the brand specific rack. Not much to complain about really!

Very pleased with these panniers, well made, sturdy, plenty of room inside. Very easy to fit. Secured onto the bike under the lid so completely safe when they are locked. No leaks in the rain either. I can fit quite a lot of groceries in them and plenty of clothes for weekends away.Easy to remove when not using.
