Very very snug
27 September 2024 by Christopher G
I've never had Revit kit before so when I saw these in the sale as Goretex Gloves I thought I'd give them a go.

Super service and delivery from SBS - as usual. The gloves are very very snug on the hand and I used the measurement guide to find the best fit. Based on this I'd suggest a size up from that suggested.

First few rides (110 mile commute Derby to London) the gloves are totally waterproof and didn't feel 'tight' or restrict blood flow. Good grip on the throttle is always welcome and getting them on and off not too much of a pfaff. The elastic part of the cuff fastening - no idea what they were thinking when they designed this so I ignore it. Construction looks excellent and quality great.

Work best with heated grips
02 January 2022 by Lewy
Worn these daily now for almost 2 months in all weather.

30 min very early daily commute.

Kept hands dry in heavy rain.

Kept hands comfortable in temp to 8-14*c

With my GS heated grips and handguards keeps hands comfortable down to -3*c.

I would recommend these over bulky winter gloves ONLY if you have efficient heated grips.

Easy to get on/off, comfortable with good dexterity/feel of controls.

Overall happy with the purchase
07 December 2021 by Rob
Super easy to put on and off, wrist strap is simple and effective to perform with one hand. They feel premium, look great, keep my hands dry and warm down to about 5-10 degrees. Anything below that I'd recommend heated grips, handguard or simply look for heated gloves all together.
I used the sizing chart and they fit perfect. 3/5 fingers have a little extra room at the end but nothing too concerning.

I can definitelly recommend this product for wet / cold days.

Good but didn't last long
14 October 2019 by Anonymous
A solid glove at first but seemed to last only one year.

Warm up to 5-10 degrees but these gloves are meant to work with heated grips mainly as they have Gore Grip which means you get better tactile feeling on bike controls.

Sizing is off so you need to go 1 up size and strangely the finger length seem to on bigger size.

My gripe with all this Revit range is that they use a soft material to wipe the visor and that soft material is the gloves weakness. After 12 months it gave in with abrasion on the bike controls and the glove started to leak in the thumb area.

I really wanted to like this glove as I love Revit products but this design has a major flaw the neoprene visor wiper which will degrade much faster than leather or a abrasion resistant textile.

Must have

Been using them over the winter together with the inner gloves and worked like a charm. Any condition including extreme rain for 2h. All dry. I would recommend buying size bigger as that came in a US size I guess

Decent but not warm enough
11 January 2019 by Sam
These are a good pair of gloves, the quality is obvious to see.

They are quite stiff I found, have been using them for 2 weeks and they are better but still stiff.

Sizing is appropriate in my view I'm a medium and I purchased a medium and have room for inner liners. The fingers however are long for some reason. They're not unmanageable though.

There is good protection in all the right places and the inner liner doesn't pull out as you take your glove off.

They're supposed to be designed for heated grips but I can't tell any benefit between my other winter gloves that are not designed for this purpose other than less padding on these which helps with tactile feel.

I have oxford heated grips and bark buster hand guards on my z1000sx and my finger tips still get cold. not uncomfortably cold or even so much for me to notice during a ride so much, but mostly when I get off.

Only very mild showers so far but no issue there and with gore tex and SBS's customer service I'm not concerned if I do have problem down the line.

Inter is comfortable with no edges or seams to irritate you.

Would be interesting to try the borealis or Taurus to see if they are any warmer but that would be an expensive proposition!

Perfect Winter Gloves
18 December 2018 by Colin
These gloves perform as well as they claim. With heated grips your hands are kept warm at temperatures down to zero. I took them to -2 degC for 20 mins and they just about kept numbness from the bulk of my hands but finger tips were slightly numb. Dexterity is good since they are not too thick. It is a big benefit that they do not have a separate lining since that means you can easily put them on and take them off without worrying about pulling the lining out of the fingers. Best without additional lining gloves as they insulate your hands from heated grips too much and stop heat getting through. The fastener mechanism can be ignored all together but it does work and the cuff is small enough to fit under your jacket sleeve and make a good seal. Don't expect the cuff to go outside of a good winter jacket sleeve.

Winter Warmer
13 December 2018 by Martyn D
I chose these because they are designed to work with heated grips, the thinner palm side allowing the warmth through & helps with feel. As I normally prefer the dexterity of thinner gloves these took a little time to acclimatise but broke in quickly. Lovely warm inner feel & totally waterproof, as you would expect from Gore Grip technology

For all you year-round commuters that have the luxury of heated grips, the Livengood GTX gloves are the gloves you have been waiting for. With relatively thin insulation, these winter gloves have been purpose-built to provide extreme breathability and adequate warmth in the spring and fall yet provide the right level of warmth when used in combination with heated grips throughout the year. The incorporated Gore-Tex with Gore Grip technology means that the waterproof membrane is directly laminated to the inside of the outer-shell, which significantly reduces water pick-up so the gloves stay dry and lightweight all the time. It also means that it has a positive effect on breathability, keeping your hands comfortably warm. Speaking of comfort, like all top-model gloves, the Livengood GTX gloves have been equipped with the single-motion closure system, enabling you to secure the other gloves without the usual hassle.
