Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...
Excellent and warm gives that work well - check your sizing though as it may be you need slightly larger than any you've had before - so L if you previously used M.
Great fit (2XL) which I ordered because I've got another pair of Richa gloves. By the sizing scale XL should have been right but the 2XL fits me better.
Strong, sturdy but a little stiff out of the bag (hence 4 stars) but I'll revisit this review if they loosen up with use.
These are my everyday gloves and I've worn them through summer, autumn and now getting into winter. I also had the opportunity to test them on a two-week tour around Norway in July, which gave them a proper test for wind, rain and cold.
They're very comfortable, have a standard fit (unlike some more expensive Kilm gloves I tried) and are generally very good.
They are waterproof, but to a limit. On my commute (about 30 mins each way) they keep my hands bone-dry, even in the heaviest downpour. However, in Norway, they were subjected to a 6 hour deluge, and they didn't last long. As soon as the waterproofing gives up, they fill up like a sponge. There aren't many gloves that would withstand that, though.
These are definitely a summer glove that will last through spring/winter okay. Into winter, if you don't have heated grips, they get cold pretty quickly. I wouldn't say they're a year-round glove, but it's nearly December, it's frosty outside and I'm still wearing them now.
Only marked down one star due to poor ventilation (these aren't great in hot conditions) and the fact that, being GoreTex, I expected them to last a little longer in the rain.
I ordered the Richa Atlantic Gore Tex gloves for the Sportsbikeshop on the strength of their great service when I bought my Richa Daytona jacket from them. As with my jacket the gloves are great quality. They are a very neat fit and after trying a pair size 2XL, I returned them for a larger size (3XL). This was no problem at all though and within a couple of days, Sportsbikeshop sent me a new, larger pair and the gloves are spot on!
Certainly live up to the RIDE magazine recommendation. Very comfy.
First off, great service as always from SBS! Thank you. I love a new glove (it's a passion ) but these are my first Richa gloves, my previous purchases are Rev'it, Dainese, Rukka. These are up there with the best. They are supremely comfortable and the cuffs can fold in very flat so will fit under your jacket cuffs if required. I'd strongly recommend going up a size also as recommended by UrbanRider.
An everyday commuter glove that won't let you down whatever the weather. The Atlantic Urban Gore-Tex is constructed from premium full grain cowhide leather finished with a subtle laser-lined "R" logo and featuring a number of safety enhancements to ensure a secure grip in any conditions. Warm and waterproof, these gloves look great and won't leave your safety to chance.
