Wiping the visor with the glove wiper removes it quite quickly

Works very well indeed, its a bit of a must have product.

With help from the wind, water has never flown off my visor so well. Quite surprising really. Great stuff.

Useful product to reduce tendency for water droplets to cling to your visor. Limitations seem to be that the effects are temporary

Rather than treating the visor routinely "just in case" it would seem to be more effective to keep the bottle and a duster in your back pack when touring


"Worth it"

After two days of rain I can verify it works. The rain pearls off the visor. I put it on once and up to now t encountered lots of rain and the effect has not worn off.

No matter whether you intend to ride in the rain or not, at some point it's unavoidable. The first time I got to use this stuff, I was riding an FJR 1300. Not that the bike matters, but it did have a qhite high screen, so the only way I could clear the rain off my visor was to lift my head in to the airflow. water dispersed instantly. but it got me thinking, was it really the the Visor proof or just a clean visor. I do know that you're stuffed either way if you wipe your visor with a glove. 2nd time out, I followed the instructions and yes, it does make a difference. Couldn't say how much of a difference, but it was definitely better than the first time I used it ^ just sprayed & wiped.
So, follow the instructions on the bottle & it might just work for you too.

I really do not know if this product makes a difference. After a suuny weekend abroad, it rained back in the uk and the visor did not shed the rain. Was I supposed to reapply after every bug cleaning? The bottle does not say. With bug cleaning and then rain - it did not work.

I've tried so many others which claim to work including one recently which was more than twice the price. Nikwax just works! Spray it on and a quick wipe off with a cloth and the rain will blow off the visor when you are moving. If you turn your head to the side when riding it'll immediately clear the visor. No desperate wiping with a gloved hand trying to clear the visor. Makes riding in the rain so much safer. Excellent value for money too.

Product definitely works and improves visibility.

Can tell it does improve rain run-off and helps water bead up, still have to stick my head into the wind to blow the rain off.

I tend to clean my visor when I return home anyway so have to re-apply, wouldn't expect it to last for weeks, but application is quick and simple so its no hassle.

First time I've used this type of product & would say it's worth it, so I'll carry on!

Only 4 stars rather than 5 due to longevity. This is water based, so naturally water removes it after time.
For normal (daily) commuting, once a week is enough. For longer journeys in persistent rain a reapply is needed after a few hours.
It's worth it though. The application is spray on and wipe off, much quicker and cleaner than other options. It manages to do the job better than others whilst also allegedly being more environmentally friendly so everyone's a winner.

This is a game changer for riding in the wet. I road down a dual carriage way in the pouring rain at 70mph and the visor kept clear. Not quite so efficient at slow speeds but I will certainly keep using it. Super easy to apply.

Works well in rain

I've been using Visor Proof for years now. Such a difference having a quality product.

With a simple spray and wipe, the visor will be ready for anything the weather throws at you. Rain water will just run off the visor giving you a much clearer view of the road ahead and your surroundings.
