Alpinestars Road Pro Gore-Tex Textile Trousers - Black

Decided to splash out on Gore-Tex trousers for my daily commute as all other waterproof motorcycle clothing ends up leaking after a year or two. These were very good value being on offer and the fit is comfortable with plenty of adjustments on the bottom of the legs to go over your boots. The pockets on the front are handy for storing your wallet and they are long enough so they don't ride up when seated. The armour feels quite thin which makes them more comfortable but gives them impression there is less protection which I am sure isn't the case. The armour does also sit in the correct position unlike some other trousers I have had.
The only negative is that the lining seems to be a bit grippy so makes getting them on and off a little more diifcult but overall I am very pleased.

Well made comfortable, seem protective and with goretex there should b no issues with waterproofing.
The thigh vents are helpfull on warm days as well.
One thing I really don't like is the positioning of the pockets.
They sit halfway down the front of the thigh not at the hips like normal pockets a minor point but annoying.
Other than that I am very happy.
Am 6ft and am 15stone and size xl fit fine

These alpinestar trousers are very well made, easy to get on and off with good zipped ventilation. I have found them to be warm and totally waterproof even in quite heavy rain. The armour is unobtrusive and hopefully won't get put to the test, overall I'm very happy with these trousers, a quality item.

Excellent trousers. Only worn a couple of times but these really are a good quality item. Very comfortable, excellent clip and button popper on waist.
They look the part and ooze quality, good protection in case of a fall.
Water proof as well so couldn't ask for more really.
Not a cheap trouser but worth every penny of the price tag, very happy with the purchase.
