Advice & Guides The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
Customers have shared mixed experiences regarding these boots. Positive comments highlight their warmth, comfort, and effective waterproofing in moderate conditions, with some recommending purchasing a size up for extra sock room. However, others found issues with sizing, noting they can be too narrow or tight around the foot and challenging to break in. Additionally, waterproofing might not hold in heavy rain. Overall, the boots are praised for their construction and value, despite some concerns about fit and performance.
The staff were very good as the size was one up than normal. They are very stiff and tight to get on but the best fit of the boots that I tried on nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Preston.
Easy to put on and take off. Comfortable both on and off the bike
Waterproof on a 1.5 hour commute in the rain and dried quickly. Easy to put on and comfortable on or off the bike. I would buy +1 UK size if I bought again for thicker socks. Slim enough for jeans or textile to be worn over the boot. Tread pattern is a bit slick but that's it.
Easy to put on with a zip coming half way up the insides. Two massive areas of hook and loop that cover zip and extend up the calf look like they'll take ages to 'go off'. Comfortable to walk in and on the bike, I don't notice I'm wearing them - which must be a good sign. Not had any problems with water getting in anywhere. If they went missing, I'd probably buy the same again.
Sizing seems to mirror normal footwear so online buyers: go for your regular shoe size.
Very well made boots giving a true feeling of safety. However they are quite stiff with little feel at the gear change pedal. Appear to be waterproof but not really tested as yet. Overall they’re great value especially at the 50% off sale price.
These Oxford boots were bought to replace my old and well used pair of boots, I ride 5 days a week to commute to work in all weathers and my old pair were letting in water far too regularly after 4 years of wear. I bought these boots one size larger than my usual shoe size and they fit perfectly well. They have performed brilliantly during the recent wet weather and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them again when required.
Excellent value boots. Very comfortable and fit perfectly. Very happy with my purchase.
I wore these around the house a couple of days ago. Quite comfortable although a bit tight getting on and off. I don’t think they have as much room where the shin transitions to the foot as some boots. First time on the bike (in the dry) they were good, easy to gear Change and brake. Second time on the bike in the rain, they leaked quite badly. Will be going back for a refund.
Nice boots comfy and fit straight from box
I find the boots comfortable and warm, and a good fit
a quality product, with reinforcement and Oxford detail where you need it. Worn in all weather and would recommend. Fits as true to size.
Really well-constructed with effective waterproofing and understated styling. Comfortable for walking-around in, too. Great VFM for this 2.0 model, now that the new Tracker 3.0 has been launched. NB: go up one size, compared to your shoe size.
These are similar to what I had previously. Not had chance to try them out on the bike yet, but they fit ok and seem conmfortable enough.
Good size and fit as described on website, Easy to keep clean as commute daily. Holds off the worst rain with the zip and velcro feature. Good daily boot.
Sizing is weird. I usually wear size 10s, and these are way too long for my feet but narrower than other brands of boots.
Soles are very slippery, especially in the wet, and the tops are hard and make feeling the gear shifter difficult.
They did not survive the May Day run without getting soaked, even with waterproof trousers over them.
Bought these boots mainly based on the waterproof expectations. On the first ride under the rain (35 mile) my feet were soggy wet. Also they are bulky on the gear lever and can cause discomfort on the leg if you have thick calves. On the bright side they were quite warm. However returning them as they not fit for purpose.
I ordered my size boot but when they arrived they were too small so returned and purchased size larger.
Very comfortable and do the job.
Sportsbikeshop are very easy to deal with and the delivery was super quick.
Only worn them once in the dry, comfortable straight from the box.
Zip on the left little stiff to start with eventually worked.
Excellent service form Sportsbikeshop as usual
