There's rarely an upside to riding in a week of solid rain. But the chance to test waterproof boots is that silver lining...
Customers generally found these boots to be comfortable, sturdy, and well-suited for adventure riding, with value for the price point being a common highlight. Several noted they provided good protection and were durable against challenging conditions. Customers mentioned sizing up worked well for comfort. However, some experienced discomfort with one boot, particularly the right one, and minor issues with closure mechanisms. Most feedback was positive about waterproofing, though a few anticipated more wear for improved flexibility. They were appreciated for their solid construction and stylish appearance.
Good to looking, great adjustment options on the straps and clasps. 100% waterproof while standing in ankle deep water. Like most adventure style boots, they are not the most comfortable to walk in off the bike.
Very rigid at first, but softened up after wearing a couple of times, seem to be of decent construction for the price, feel secure on and easy to fasten.
All in all at this price point you could do alot worse.
Happy with purchase, great service, arrived quickly and well packaged.
Excellent fit, but need size or 2 up must try on first but comfy and value for money
These are my first pair of adventure boots and they are just what I was after. The quality is top notch and the comfort is the same.
Fantastic purchase for the money very supportive. Good fit the clasps work well and snap shut securely , they are comfortable although they are a bit stiff until you break them in. I can’t fault them personally. A++ from me
Very happy with these boots, they look great & the quick fasteners are brilliant.
As others have said these are not a boot to be walking about in as they are quite stiff, once broken in they will hopefully relax a bit, in saying that I brought these for riding the bike not walking.
Very pleased with my new boots, great value and arrived amazingly fast.
Good tall boots, worn them four times still quite stiff, can be fiddly with the buckles. But for the money I'm happy. Only worn once in the rain didn't leak. Great shop to deal with. Good prices.
Really good boots, I went one size up, which was necessary, well made, right boot not as comfy as left, but hardly an issue. Good to walk in as well as stand whilst riding, excellent value considering the cost.
I ordered because the reviews were good, happy with the boots looked great.
Unfortunately I was unable to keep them as they were unsuitable for changing gear on my BMW R 18, the soles were too thick, therefore I wasn't able to fit between peg and lever.
I returned them to the Reading branch, who kindly allowed me to purchase a pair of Richa boots that were suitable for my needs.
I ensured that the boots returned weren't worn other than sitting on my bike in my garage, so they were returned as delivered in new condition.
Sportsbikeshop Reading staff were friendly and helpful, I've never known them to be any different, a pleasure to deal with.
Have worn these boots for two 3 hour rides and I am very impressed. Yes they are stiff and initially I found they slightly restricted movement, wore them around the hours for a few hours until I got used to them. Took a while to adjust the side straps to correct tension because I haven't come across this type of buckle, now it is all good. Like others have said I went for one size larger and this has worked for me. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the product.
Great looking boot but very stiff and uncomfortable, thankfully I won't be doing a lot of walking
Excellent service from Sports Bike Shop and for an inexpensive pair of boots they're just what I needed!
A great boot for the price, doesn't feel like a cheap boot either. Comfortable for touring and so far waterproof too. Plastic retaining straps feel a little cheap, but are holding up well. Broke in after a couple of rides so feel nice and comfortable now. Very good boot at this price
Bought these boots as liked the colour and looks for a leather waterproof Boot. As Yet not tried out on the bike due to the weather I been breaking in in the house wearing an hour at a time and walking as leather stiff when new. After wearing and walking around about a week then boots are molding to my feed giving extra room. I bought a UK 11 an am a uk 10 so I like the extra size to allow for different socks to be used. Boots feel comfortable and will no doubt improve with using on the bike The adjustment availability of the snap buckles is very good and clip in well. Looking forward to some riding weather to test out. All in all very pleased with these boots at a good price point ?
My first foray into adventure style boots after 50+ years of riding. First priority was protection and staying dry and warm. The design is right at a bargain price. I wanted the long length and uncluttered inner aspect. i.e. all flaps/fastenings to outside away from pegs and levers. Check! Fit I would say is true to size and for me feel just right around my feet. Snug and comfortable and well lined. Check! Easy to get into but adjustment of straps mildly fiddly but achieves a nice tailored snugness to legs once sorted. Check. Sturdy as hell and reassuringly robust feel though material is stiff. Hoping they will wear in with use. Thus far at the price point I am well pleased.
Not the boot for walking around in, but very comfortable and secure feeling on the bike, not tested waterproofing but not expecting them to repel the elements at the price. great value

Yes, the DXR Kruger boots are relatively wide fitting. The Alpinestars Corozal are also suitable.
You might want to go up one size from his normal size.
The height ranges from approximately 14" - 15", depending on the size of the boot.
