Excellent comfort, solid protection and supremely waterproof... bravo for the Richa Rain Tech
Customers generally find these boots comfortable and well-made, offering good value for the price. Many advise ordering one or two sizes up for the best fit, as they tend to run small. Features like Velcro tabs on zips and heel blocks are appreciated. While some mention minor issues with tightness around the leg and potential leakage in heavy rain, overall satisfaction is high for road use and moderate weather conditions.
First thing is make sure you go up a size, I'm usually a 10 but they were very tight, the 11's fit snug but room to move. At first they boots are very very stiff and take some getting used to but after a few weeks of use they have loosened up and feel good to put on and wear. I have only worn them in light rain so far but kept dry feet. I can't imaging them letting any water in to be fair due to the construction. The only reason i have not given them 5 stars is that the soles are VERY hard and transfer a lot of vibration compared to my old boots. Can't go wrong with these boots for the price.
So pleased with my first pair of Rain Tech boots that when they needed replacing I bought an identical pair. Only a couple of months in and part of the sole has come away. There is very little sign of wear and Sportsbikesgop contact Richa who rather than replacing have requested my only pair of boots be returned for repair which is likely to be just some resin or glue to reattach the loose piece! Very disappointed in Richa and SBS so will be buying different boots from a local shop instead.
Good looking and seem quality but you really need to order 2 sizes up on what you normally take.
Great boots , good fit & quality , comfortable to wear & flexible to sit on the bike with , says water proof as well , but only been out in the dry.
These boots represent excellent value for money, sturdy, waterproof and well made. I took the advice of previous customers and bought a size larger than I would normally wear. Having tried on both sizes, the larger size 44 was a better fit than the 43.
The sole is firm and allows placing the bike, a S1000XR (227kg) on the Centre stand without really feeling any pressure on the foot.
Very pleased with them and the buying process was made super easy BY SBS by reserving online at the local store so I could check out a few different makes and sizes.
Very quality, comfortable and accessible price. Definitely worth it if you're wanting something warm and comfy.
Really comfortable, warm, and at an affordable price.
I'm a bloodbiker and do a few miles each month. These boots are warm keep my feet dry.
Good fit no issues with rubbing great for long miles
I have only worn these in the dry but find them comfortable. I ordered 1 size up as they are a snug fitting boot, and are comfortable and feel like thy are upto the job..
Ideal for riding my bmw r18, I can change gear easily, I originally ordered mx style boots that didnt enable me to change gear, so exchanged for the Richa .
I recommend these boots on initial impression, and as per usual the Reading branch oF sportsbikeshop were really helpful.
I've only just started wearing these boots but so far they're very nice, comfortable and a good fit. Waterproof so far but I've not ridden in anything really heavy yet hence 4 stars in stead of 5. The only thing I would say is that I had to go up 2 sizes for a good fit and that was with normal thin socks.
Firstly, as everyone else says, get at least 1, if not 2 sizes larger than you normally would. I'm a UK size 9 but have had two different pairs of Richa boots now at size 10 and they have still been a snug fit. A size 11 would probably still be comfortable enough.
These boots are a tight fit, especially around the ankle which can make them a bit more difficult to slide your foot into, but comfy once on. They have worn in quickly and the zip and velcro seem to be a bit more rugged than some others I've tried. Haven't been able to test them in the extreme wet yet but they have kept me perfectly dry in mild rainy days. There is less 'stitched on' panels on this boot compared to my older similar Richa boots, and that is a good thing as the stitching is prone to breaking off leaving the protective panels hanging off and completely compromising the integrity of the boot. Without these 'stiched on' panels, these boots should last a bit longer. The toe sliders are a welcome addition at this price level for a waterproof boot, helping them be useful in all weather conditions.
Finally, they don't seem to be too hot to wear on a sunny day so that is good.
I bought 44 and it's very good for the money but if like me you sometimes fit a 43 I or 44 I go bigger. But very well made.
Great boots, very comfortable but as others have said you really need to go 2 sizes up as very tight fitting. Im normally a 43 in all footwear but had to get 45s.
Bought as a gift for my husband as his previous pair are beginning to wear out after heavy use over four years. As other reviews have said they do come up small and so sized up for a perfect fit. Not yet worn but look stylish and are extremely well made. Expect them to be as good as his current pair.
Comfortable boots, too early to review how waterproof or durability
Firstly - try before you buy, to get the right size. I had to go two sizes up to get a good fit. When I did, they are very comfortable on and off the bike and very impressive for the price point. However, they are not a precision tool. They are certainly a touring boot for long lazy rides and not a sports boot. Frequent gear changes in these on my Street Triple get very frustrating. They are quite clumpy and upshifts are made far too slow for anything resembling brisk riding.
First pair of Richas, but probably not the last. As with most other people, I went +1 size than I'd normally wear & (43 up to 44) & they fit well. Comfortable to wear, light & even decent to walk around in. Couple of good little touches with the Velcro tabs on the zips & the little heel 'block' that makes them easier to take off. Good boots & good value.
The Richa Rain Tech waterproof boots ensure you'll never be caught out by the rain again. The waterproof, breathable Hipora membrane will keep your feet dry in the heaviest of downpours, so you can concentrate on the road ahead rather than the puddles between your toes. Every rider wants to be comfortable while they're on the bike, and the Rain Techs have it covered. Accordion stretch panels on the front and back of the boot give extra flexibility, and the hook and loop calf adjustment accommodates a wide range of calf sizes. The CE-approved Rain Tech's protective features make for the perfect sports-touring boot - malleolus padding for the bony parts of the ankle, a hard plastic shin guard and hard heel and toe cups. Plastic overlaid gearshifter panels, hardwearing replaceable steel toe sliders and genuine YKK zips ensure long-term reliability.

Previous customer feedback would suggest that you will need to go up one size.
