Customers find these boots to be warm, waterproof, and generally comfortable for both riding and walking. The boots offer good support and confidence on varied terrains. However, there are minor issues reported: the insoles may come apart, and the clasp screws can rust. While sizing can be tricky—sometimes requiring a size up—the boots are praised for their sturdy build and value for money. Some customers mention the need for better ankle protection and ease of putting them on.
Really like the sturdy feel of these boots along with reassuring protection in all the right places. Not tested the waterproof qualities yet as no rain since the purchase.
Very good initial impressions and excellent value for money.
This is my second pair of these boots ive a had a fair few boots claiming to be waterproof these are the only ones that are, they are a good fit and comfy enough to walk in and very warm in winter no need for thermal socks and a bargain at the price
I really struggle with cold feet and hands. I tried these boots on at my local bike shop and really liked the look and feel when walking around in these. Much cheaper through Sportsbikeshop and delivered as quick as normal.
Needed to go a size up with these initially they are quite stiff and took a couple of days to break in , easy to get on and off and have been waterproof on a 2hour ride the only issue I have is that the sole doesn't have as much grip as I'd like but overall well worth the money
So far so good. The boots fit well as recommended I went fit for one size bigger.
So I spent about 3 hours shopping around for a new pair of boots as the old one got worn down and sprung some leeks. It lasted 5 years so happy with that.
After deciding to buy this pair and it got delivered, I realised that I bought the exact same pair 5 years apart! Happy with that!
I bought these as a direct replacement for my old Richa Adventure boots, Which finally gave up the ghost after many many years of use. Always comfortable and never let the rain or water in so a no brainer when I saw the same boots were still available.
I'm normally between a 9-10 for boots so figured a 10 was a safe bet (especially for wet/cold weather and needing thicker socks!).
These were a real struggle to get on at first - I genuinely thought I'd have to send them back but persevered on the suspicion they just needed a bit of a wear-in.
Lo and behold, keeping them on for an hour and a jiffy around on the "last day of summer" these now slip on and off without issue.
These are still a stiff wear - I'm hoping with more time they'll get a bit more pliable as they're tough to feel against the gear lever.
These boots are a good buy, sturdy solid boot with good sole. Very comfortable but would size up as suggested in other reviews. Altogether a good buy and value for money?
I commute in all weather's and need waterproof boots. These work. They are also comfortable and warm. Good value.
Good right out of the box, I have not warn in the rain yet so can't confirm if they are waterproof. Very good support, easy to put on and fit well. Size is good I ordered a 10, I am a 10 so fitting well. They will only get better the more I use then.
The gear lever misses the rubber toe pad so the leather gets scuffed up.
No tab on the back of the boot to help pull them on.
Not anti slip.
Warm. Dry. Provide a good standing platform due to the hard soles.
The leather upper I between the buckles doesn't overlap the inner tounge.
The appearance is really spectacular, it's a good option for trail bike
Fantastic service from SportsBikeShop. These boots were comfortable for me straight out of the box. They've kept my feet warm and dry so far, and have been tested on a wet ride!
I went slightly down on sizing compared to my regular shoes. The snap locks and Velcro hug my legs well. A bigger adjustment range on the snap locks would be nice, but that's only a minor point.
I'm still getting used to the boots, but I'm very happy so far.
Got these end of January, used on average 4 times a week for at least 2h per day and overall very happy but there are a couple of silly issues
they are the warmest boots I've had (an hour at 0c with thin winter socks before my toes where getting numb) they have not leaked after hours in heavy rain or even off-road going through puddles. They are fine to walk in, not much worse then Normal boots honestly but They do not have amazing ankle protection for off-road and no squish protection but the bottom of the boot is very stiff and gives me confidence that if I smash my foot into something off-road I won't bend my toes backwards.
Now the silly faults
The insoles are coming apart in the left boot, not the end of the world but very annoying.
Screws in the clasping mechanism are rusting already
Not really an issue with the boot but there is damage on the leather at the front of the boot presumably from road road debris and small rocks, I can't remember anything hitting my feet. Once again not really an issue with the boot but I wish it was more durable
Have used them in rain and snow. They keep your feet warm and have plenty of grip for loose surfaces. They take a bit of getting used to as the toes are bulkier than touring boots and they are a bit stiff when you first use them. Couldn't do without them in the winter.
Good winter boots waterproof so far. Fit well
Had to go a size up in these but a great value for money boot. Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop as usual. Happy.
