Only one thing to say, does exactly what is says on tin. Warm completely waterproof good ventilation in summer too, looking to order another one before it s no longer available v3 trousers also excellent

Had a couple of years, still as waterproof/windproof. Comfy from day one. Well vented, good pockets. Armour flexible. Would buy another when required. Replaced Ride best buy jacket that came to the end of its life, and a definite step up

All good so far. Warm and dry, although not tested by rain yet, just light road spray.
Arms are fairly long but that's because of the size I need to go round my belly

I needed a new jacket for all year riding that is warm and waterproof, this has been tested in frosty conditions and heavy rain recently. It is warm, but an extra layer is needed when really cold, but it is totally waterproof.
Sizes are small, I wear a 2xl t-shirt but needed a 4xl jacket. Cuffs go over winter gloves ok and fasten-up great, zip is sturdy and jacket has plenty of both internal and external pockets, although outer flap pockets aren't easy to open with gloves on.
In general, this is a quality piece of kit.

Superb bit of kit for the money. I ve been wearing Klim gear for the last 9/10 years but wanted something with a drop liner in it for occasional rides to see me through the winter and this has been good so far. True to size I d say. Great service from sportsbikeshop as usual.

1st run out with this jacket temperature was a balmy 5-6 degrees , no problems with just a thin thermal underlayer on as well as the thermal liner in the jacket.
Comfort wise 10/10 and fits excellent , useful pockets and when temp rises really good vents to allow air. This was matched to the Raider Jeans which again are really good and comfortable and both are waterproof which, under reviews, got better results than the Andes V3 trousers.

As you would rightly expect from one of the best Motorcycle Attire Manufacturers, the Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar is absolutely top notch in every way. It is made from high quality, durable polyfabric, and I can tell you it is both wind and waterproof. The stitching is immaculate, Zips are the best, YKK. The direct ventilation system is brilliant. Impact protection is quality and removeable. The jacket is also TechAir 5 ready. It has a removeable quilted inner liner. Contoured sleeves with velcro cuffs. It has waterproof cargo pockets on the front and a large utility pocket at the lower back. With internal pockets, plus a waterproof wallet pocket, this is large to say the least and could easily accommodate a sizable phone. It's collar is padded and very nicely fitting, really comfortable. The fit, at least for me, is perfect to my size, though I do prefer a closer fit. Yes, this Motorcycle Jacket is outstanding. I would highly recommend. Well done Alpinestars.

Very good jacket. I am 188cm and weigh 110kg. I took the 4x size. Fits well with the lining in have not tried it out, it might be a little big, but since I have a summer jacket, this is perfect for winter riding.

Whilst not the most protective garment on the market this nevertheless inspires confidence on the bike especially if the weather looks a little iffy. It’s comfortable, warm and looks good. Not sure I enjoy being described as a 4XL but it’s been a great purchase.

I bought this as a winter waterproof ‘over jacket’ to wear over my leather jacket.
I have a 42” chest and this Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar Textile Jacket (size XL) with its armour and liner removed, fits nicely over my Goldtop ‘76 cafe racer leather jacket with D30 ghost protection in place.
With its armour and liner fitted, the Alpinestars Andes V3 jacket is a perfect, well fitting ‘stand alone’ waterproof touring jacket.
Highly recommended.

Lovely jacket nice length

Jacket comfortable and easy to wear, even when while touring off the bike. Found to be suitable for wet weather riding.

Early days yet, but 1st impressions are really good. The quality of this jacket is very good, fit is really good too. Only been caught in rain once since purchased but perfectly dry and very comfortable. I would normally buy a XL in T Shirts ect, but after reading other reviews I went for 2XL. Fits perfectly.
