Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Pro Chest Protector Insert - Anthracite

Quality feeling product. I fitted size L to my XL sized Alpinestars jacket. The protectors are a tight fit (which they should be, rather than moving around in the custom pockets). I do not notice them when I am wearing the jacket.

Ordered Sunday, delivered Monday, well done Sportsbikeshop.
Ordered Large for a size 50 Andes 3 jacket.
Only just fitted into the pockets, once I could find them, but seem secure and you hardly notice they are there.
Good kit, would highly recommend.

Very pleased with this item. Never had chest protectors before so nice to have extra protection.

Sizing is hard to find from Alpinestars & SBS were unsure so I ordered both S & L. My jacket is a ST-7 size Medium and the Small protectors were the correct size. L way too big so returned.

Comfort wise... Well I fitted the protectors and didn't ride for two weeks. First time I rode it was about half an hour into the ride I remembered they were there & knock my chest to make sure!

They have a nice protective thickness to them but being flexible you can barely feel them.

Definitely worth it even for protection piece of mind.

quality bit of kit fits nice and snug don't really know its there.

Alpinestars quality bit of kit, doesn't get any better.

Fits in all three of my 2xl Astars jackets. They are thin, flexible and should allow good airflow through my mesh jacket. Feel like they will be protective though hopefully I won't put that to the test.

Fits my Astars Mission V2 jacket perfectly and doesn't move around while riding. Very thin and light, fit and forget.

So thin and flexible in comparison to others on the market. aStars also make it super easy to install in my GP Plus V3.

Fit perfectly in my Astars one piece suit, you don't know you have them in. Could possibly be a bit bigger to offer more protection but well worth having..

Fits into my jacket. Not to bulky

Put these into my Alpinestars jacket. They are reassuringly bulky for a Level-2 protector. Maybe slightly less flexible than other nucleon flex protectors I have used.

I purchased an Alpinestars GP Plus V3 ridenit leather jacket and I wanted to up the level of protection that the jacket offered and bought the chest protectors they were easy to fit and did not change the figment if the jacket. They are comfortable when in place and provide a degree of reassurance that I wanted when riding my hyper naked S1000R.

Usual excellent service from SBS. Arrived within three days. Purchased to replace 25 year old chest armour in my Knox gillet!

Bottom line, they are well designed, fit perfectly, and feel substantial.
Initially wanted to send these inserts back because they seemed bulky, but I bit the bullet and just installed them into my jacket. Once there, they do not feel bulky at all. In fact, next time I went for a ride I completely forgot about them.
