Bought these to complete the protection in my Andes 3 jacket. Jacket is 3XL so chose the large inserts. A bit fiddly to fit as the pockets in jacket are well hidden. Once in the inserts fit snugly. You hardly notice them when wearing the jacket as they're lightweight and comfortable. I think the fit of the jacket is improved with the addition of the inserts.

I ordered size L and they are a perfect fix in my Alpinestars Andes 2 jacket. I terms of comfort you wouldn't know they were there. With all armour installed (back, elbow, shoulder and chest) the jacket is heavy but and least you know you've done your best to reduce the effect on an accident.

As usual Alpinestars have produced a quality product at a realistic price.
The fit suits my body frame, I am not concerned about the looks, as it is always installed inside my jacket

As a reasonably priced, good quality upgrade to the polyurethane jokes that come with many a jacket, there is little excuse for not getting a pair. I put these in my Alpinestars Patron jacket and the fit is comfortingly snug. They fill all the space in the chest protector pockets and are semi-soft so they move with you, such that they are not noticeable in use. Haven't hit a brick wall at 90mph yet but they are level 2 so that's as good as it gets for protective inserts. Please note that they are not D3O type soft but they are malleable.

As with all Alpinestar products, this was of the great quality you'd expect. The only concern is that Alpinestar are never good at telling you which protection fits which jacket.
SPORTSBIKESHOP shop sold this through their website but it took about a month to receive it, out of stock. Not ideal but I have it now at least.

Top quality as always from Alpinestar. Light weight and easy to install into jacket. Gives a real sense of security knowing they are there.

If you're like me and never really had chest protectors, for the cost benefit analysis of these, there's really no excuse.

Fits perfectly into an A* Missile Ignition V2 1 piece suit. SBS confirmed fitment over email & they fit great.

These say 'chest' but they also cover all of your ribs too! This in effect is providing a degree of protection for some internal organs too.

The pockets for them are the perfect size and keep them firmly in place although one is slightly positioned 0.5cm higher but covers entirety of the area still; that's the suit pocket not the protector :).

These inspire confidence in the protection. I bought these for a one piece and subsequently bought another brands for my two piece as well.

Very sturdy L-sized pads that fit well into a 54 (44) Missile V2 jacket. Not too bulky when installed, wouldn't know they're there tbh! No issues riding on a sports bike (crouched over).

Quality feeling product. I fitted size L to my XL sized Alpinestars jacket. The protectors are a tight fit (which they should be, rather than moving around in the custom pockets). I do not notice them when I am wearing the jacket.

Only just fitted into the pockets, once I could find them, but seem secure and you hardly notice they are there.
