Merlin Ranton 2 D3O Mixed Gloves - Olive

Bought these (olive and grey) to match the Merlin and Oxford wax jackets.
Love the look fit and feel of them.
No bad and all good for a wax/mix glove. Very cool!

I could simply have a stroke of bad luck, but these gloves are a Christmas gift that was sat waiting to be used, and unfortunately stitching at the cuff is already fraying and coming away after 4 uses.

The gloves can't hold up in rain at all unfortuantely, potentially would be fitter for dry colder days.

Also found the cuffs to be an awkward size not quite long enough to go over the sleeves of my jacket but too thick to comfortably sit under my jacket sleeves.

These are smart and comfy gloves, and the sizing L (large) is spot on, but as some other reviews have tried to imply that the Ranton is a true winter commuting glove, I found my fingers biting with cold in sub 5C winter mornings within 5 miles

Nicely made of good quality materials. A snug fit but I'm hoping they'll ease up over time.
Integrated D30 armour is slim and flexible.
Touch screen operation more miss than hit despite being offered with this feature. Shame, otherwise a 5* product.
