Rukka Rimo-R Gore-Tex Textile Trousers - Black

Had the Rimo jacket for a while but balked at the price of the trousers! Sale price was too good to miss and took a gamble with Large (really wanted the Medium - 32 waist 5'6") but fits OK. Once the Rukka armour is in place they're a comfy set of strides, especially like the extra seat padding in addition to the leather. Had the Rimo jacket a couple of years now and ridden mountain snow and 40* valleys and it's bloody marvellous - haven't any doubt the trousers will be the same

Really please with these: good fit/protection & excellent value at the SBS sale price.
+ Quality & warranty.
+ Good adjustability (waist & boots)
+ Lots of venting (legs front & rear).
+ Soft lighter-weight fabric than most all-year use kit.
+ Great for layering, if you want that.
+ The armour (extra cost) is wider than most, great protection.
+ Sized to take knee braces if you need that.
+ Very large boot opening at bottom, will easily take a big MX/Adv boot
+ Should give at least 6-10yrs use I reckon.
- Large size (50) good for me (34" waist, 32" leg) plus lots of waist adjustment.
- Not cheap even at the SBS sale price. But still great value considering all this and the unmatched warranty.
- Pockets not waterproof (but none ever are in my experience).
- Boot opening adjustment (zip & hook/loop) works ok but ideally a bit more adjustment for less hefty boots.
- Colours more interesting than only black would be nice (like black with green or khaki).

I have the same size in a rukka husqvarna trousers a large can wear with knee pads and protective shorts no problem new trousers in same size cannot wear them quality not as good
