Oxford Nemesis Chain Lock

I can't speak for the security of the chain and lock but it's a very heavy substantial chain and I would expect it to do what I need it to do.

With the thickness of the steel on this piece of kit help deter the theft of the bike, they will tend to look for easier locks and chains. Using with a similar thickness of chain is the best option for this lock. But used on its own it is a great deterrent. Will keep your bike a little more safe when you leave it locked up.

Seems like a fairly hefty chain that would need some very beefy croppers to get through.

The lock is also very sturdy, and the locking mechanism operates smoothly.

Easy to use, the chain cover prevents scratches to the wheel or frame (just make sure to take care with the exposed end link as you pass it through the bike).

Overall very happy with the purchase.

Got this after reading a lot of reviews of this and other locks !! It’s outside 24/7 and is solid. Although I would have like 18mm chains this was next best thing. Ground anchored aswell. Plus was on discount.

Nice big chain and you can use the lock on the move without lugging the chain.

Solid lock and chain combo

I use this daily. I had a 10mm chain chopped and lost the bike. so 16mm is a must IMO. It is heavy though so you will need a back box or panier to lug it around. 42" bolt croppers will not go through it but an angle grinder will eventually.

Very heavy and substantial the chain links look far more hefty than my old oxford chain visually so hopefully a good deterrent

It looks very solid and massive, and the longest version is good enough for a big motorcycle.
It hasn't been tested yet, but the bike is more secure with this type of chain for sure.

It's a hefty piece of kit, very heavy but the 22mm makes it fit a large variety of anchor points.

This is a beast of a chain and as a bonus the lock is also a disc lock.

Ordered the oxford nemesis for securing my bike at work but I wasn't expecting it to be so robust, hopefully I won't need to find out if it stops the bike getting nicked but seems solid and is a good length and to top it off delivered in a speedy manner.

Only looked for sold secure rated products this came up at a decent price so took the plunge and happy I did, decent weight to the chain and feels solid the same with the lock feels solid, I've coupled it with an Oxford boss alarmed disc lock on the front hopefully it'll put them off enough to look elsewhere.

Seems to be very well-made. I use it at home to secure my bike. Impressive value at the moment. Really pleased with my purchase and great service from Sportsbikeshop as always.
