Oxford Nemesis Chain Lock

Looks and feels solid, hopefully never tested. Needed another chain and lock for yet another acquisition, this is spot on. It is heavier than expected, definitely not something you'd carry on the bike. As always, had a good chat talking all things bikes with the staff at Leeds. Thanks SBS.

Works great in securing bike to ground anchor and the lock used as a disc lock is ideal when travelling as chain a little too heavy to carry around. Comes with sold secure accreditation although hope never need to test it.

Reassuringly massive in conjunction with a ground anchor but not something to be carried.

Feel my bike is a lot safer with this beast fastening it to the ground. Too heavy to carry around but ideal for home use.

I had an idea of what type and length of motorcycle chain I wanted and set about looking for the best price. Sportsbikeshop came up trumps and with free next day delivery. Result! Great sturdy chain that helps me to relax at night, knowing that my motorcycle will now be harder to steal.

Got the 2m chain which is long enough to lock 2 bikes together through a ground anchor.

Thick enough to be a challenge to cut through easily. Heavy but not too heavy to carry with.

This is a heavy chain and lock which will certainly give a visual deterrent. It appears to be of good quality and is my second Nemesis lock, the first one I have had for many years and remains in good condition and functional. Thankfully the new lock has a different coloured key.
You might consider this alittle heavy to carry around with you, it is, but it might be worth it.

Ordered the 2m chain and lock. It is very substantial and will certainly make any potential thief move on to an easier target. Im using it to lock my two bikes together. Both are spoked and so fitting it through the spokes is difficult and so on one I have had to put the chain around the one fork stantion. Its too heavy to stick in a rucksack, but no issue on a top box. I've combined it with a Litelok X3. Considering how much we pay for our bikes, this represents only a very small percentage of that. Shame insurers can't do a deal and offer discount codes. That would be win win situation.

Unless someone tries to steal a bike and attempts to hack through this monstrosity I can't vouch for it's construction. What I can say is that it's reassuringly heavy and I think it's an excellent deterrent to lowlife scumbags.

Thick 16mm chain and lock. A great extra deterrent when added with a good disc lock!
The 1.5 meter seems to be the perfect length for reaching anchor points and optionally wrapping around a average 17 Inch wheel twice to get it up off the floor.

Key turns easily, links are extremely thick and heavy, which is very reassuring.

Sleeved chain helps prevents scratches to the wheel.

I can't speak for the security of the chain and lock but it's a very heavy substantial chain and I would expect it to do what I need it to do.
