LS2 Vector 2 - Splitter Matt Titanium / Hi-Vis Yellow

Bought this for my daughter who loves it. Rapid delivery and excellent service after the store only had display model in. Would definitely deal with Company again.

Really comfy and a great fit! The built in sun vision is great when the suns low.

Great quality, loads of features and really really comfortable.

Can't pick fault with the helmet other than the position of the chin strap, it sits just close enough to my Adams apple to cause discomfort. Its not too bad though, rotating the helmet a little further back and pushing the chinstrap closer to the chin does the trick for me

I've owned this for 8 months and have used it over 2000 miles. It's very comfortable, stable and the noise levels are fine. It has an excellent visor and easy-to operate sunshield. As others have noted, the chinstrap initially felt a bit close to my Adam's apple, but as it bedded in, I quickly got used to it, and it's not an issue at all now. For me, the main flaw is that the visor release button needs a firm and precise push with a thumb or finger to operate, otherwise you end up having to do it again. Apart from this, and the fiddly vents, it's a really solid helmet,

I bought the vector 2 mainly based on the Ride magazine best buy sub £200 helmet award. I'd also previously owned an Ls2 rapid helmet that I found excellent value.
First off the helmet looks great and the quality seems a considerable step up from the rapid.
On the downside the chin strap is too short for me and digs in to my throat. Not good.
The internal sun visor doesn't open and close properly using the switch. So I find I have to close it manually by holding the visor. It's also of a light blue tint which takes getting use to.
The worst part is the wind noise. Despite wearing earplugs I find it very noisy at anything above 40mph.

The LS2 Vector 2 is, no doubt, a well put together helmet. Weight is good. Features are good. Comes with Pinlock, cut-outs for the comms are there, visor is fine and the sun-visor mechanism is good too. Graphics look lovely. Having 6 shell sizes is outstanding.

Problem (at least for me) is the positioning of the chin strap - it's just too far back, so the buckle presses uncomfortably on my adam's apple (this same issue was mentioned by one of the testers in Ride's review for this helmet).

A shame, as it's a blocker on an otherwise good helmet - I've given it 4 stars, even though I'm returning it, as I'm sure the strap won't be an issue for a lot of people, and they'll appreciate the rest of the helmet.

Superb helmet - comfortable, quiet and straight forward to install intercom - speaker cut outs exact size for the speakers.
Very pleased with the build quality, and the bonus of pin- lock provided and air cushion to rest the helmet on.

Lots of features and easy to use. Seemed a great first helmet!

I have a big, fat, round head which matched the XL of this helmet, and it is bit tight, but with a balaclava it slides on and off easier.

Great helmet, very comfortable! I am 59cm and the large fits me really nicely. Also the sun visor is super handy as a glasses wearer. Feels like a much more expensive helmet! Would recommend!

Nothing to fault with this helmet. Fit is snug - I measure as 61cm but ordered a 59/60 cm, large, which after a few wears has gone from snug to comfortable.
The field of vision is superb and the visor is crystal clear. Even with the sun visor down, there's no distortion. Pinlock works well.
Ventilation is also excellent and with both top vents open, the airflow is really noticeable.
My first LS2 helmet and I'm really impressed.

This is a truly excellent helmet.
It is quiet, comfortable and has a quality feel to it. The strap fastener is unusual but easy to operate.
The visor fastener has a reassuring click on closing but is tricky at first to operate with Winter gloves so practice before you ride.
The only surprise was that there are no instructions provided. SBS have created a Youtube clip which is helpful.
In summary, I fully recommend this lid which, in my view, is superior to the more expensive brands I have worn.

Just fitted an intercom which was a bit fiddly which could be partly due to her helmet being a small
Great internal sun visor looks very smart, pin lock visor included.

When I first got the helmet there was a defect in the visor, I contacted SBS and it was dealt with in the usual efficient manor, and a replacement visor was received within a couple of days.
The first test on the road was a 100mile bimble. The helmet has great visibility and is quieter than the Shark that it replaced.
I am a wearer of glasses and unfortunately the helmet pressed on the side of the glasses and when looking behind it was more than uncomfortable (to the point I may look for another helmet). I did try my glasses when I bought from the shop but I would advise you do spend some time checking this.
The sun visor was a little tricky to operate with my winter gloves but I did get more used to it in time.
The pinlock visor started to mist slightly on the RH side, I am yet to try re-sealing it but I think this will be ok.
So, in summary, If you do not wear glasses then this is a good option with only a couple of niggles but if you do, you may be disappointed.
