Good sturdy product.

Although you do have to drill holes to fit the mounting bracket, once complete the whole process is relatively simple. It's a well made cast iron frame and IMO a good buy if you want to increase your luggage capacity. I'm using with an SH 48 top box which is really easy to install/remove and comfortable enough for my partner who is a tad nervous with no box fitted. Don't tell her I said that. It's an good alternative to the OEM model supplied by Yamaha.

The simple to attach bike model specific fitting kit goes straight on to the tail of the bike and a Shad mounting plate (which is included in any Shad top box purchase except Terra boxes) sits securely on top allowing a Shad top box to attach with ease.
