A good fit, true to size and very comfortable. Haven’t tried them in the rain yet but no doubt will soon. The only thing they could do with is belt loops to better hold them up if you don’t have a zip together jacket on.

Maybe I got lucky but these jeans are a perfect fit for me, they're not baggy around the backside when I'm off the bike and (even though I've only worn them a few times) they're supple and comfortable on the bike. The leather is reassuringly thick and well stitched with stretch panels that allow the jeans to fit my legs perfectly without being tight or restrictive. A definite thumbs up for these jeans

After reading the reviews and with the sale price decided to take the step with some leather trousers. I am very happy with these good quality comfortable and now wearing non stop. Haven't tested in rain yet bit otherwise all good. Great service and quick delivery as always from SBS

These are well made and comfortable leather trousers. As a CBT instructor, I spend a lot of time standing outside on the training ground as well as riding, and with winter coming on, I needed something that was not only protective, but waterproof and all day long comfortable, and so far, after a few weeks use, these Weise trousers seem to fit the bill admirably. Fit is good - I ordered a 36" waist, as that is what my tape measure says (despite taking 33 tagged denim jeans and trousers), and I'd say that's accurate. I wear Spada Pilgrim boots in winter and the cuffs of these trousers fit over the top of them and (just about) zip up. So all in all - very happy with my purchase, and as every, great customer service from Sportsbikeshop.

Brilliant quality leather trousers with waterproof inners. Marries to Weiss leather jacket via optional large or small zip. I am just u set 6 ft and slim. The Large size jacket and trousers fitted perfectly. Not yet tried on bike, but can't foresee many issues …

Good protective trousers

Good quality leather trousers which fit me well. I feel they will protect well in a spill (though hope I don't get to prove this theory) with armour in the knees and down the hips. Haven't tried the zipped vents yet, but good to know they're there for the one day of summer we might get.
Two zips are fitted to attach to jacket, full length and short one.
Only downside for me was that some of the loops at the bottom of the waterproof liner had pulled out. Might have been me trying it in the shop or maybe someone previously, I did take on and off several times, the SBS staff were great, left me to get on with it but there for help and advice when I wanted it.

I wanted a bit more protection than my textile and riding jeans offer.
I did try other makes but the fit was poor, too tight around the calves and baggy around your backside.
I tried the Weisse Hydra jeans and they are true to size, no need to go up or down, they are accurate.
Quality is very good and even came with hip protectors which i didn't expect.
I would certainly recommend these leather trousers feeling comfortable riding the bike and looking great off it

I'm wondering what measurement the bottom of the cuffs are when the ankle zips are closed on the small and medium( 30 & 32" ) sizes are to see if they would fit over my boots ? Thanks in advance!
October 11, 2017When the zips are closed the measurement of the size 30 will be around 5 inches, and on the size 32 it is 6 inches. (The measurements are taken with the trousers flat)

November 28, 2013The Weise Hydra jeans have a larger grain than that of the Brooklands jacket, with a slightly flatter, smoother sheen to it as opposed to the slightly shinier finish of the jacket. The jeans will indeed connect to the jacket using the incorporated connection zips.

April 3, 2012The Weise Hydra-WP leather jeans have hip armour pockets built in to the liner. Hip armour is not included with the jeans.
How long is the inside leg of this jean in size 34 and are they designed to fit over your boots?
October 18, 2011The inside leg measurement in the Hydra - WP leather jeans is approximately 30” in the size 32 and then approximately 31” in the 34 – 38 sizes. The lower leg is zipped purely for access while the ankle is tailored more for wearing inside of boots.
