6 hrs of heavy rain just beaded off. Awsome.

I tried on around a dozen pairs of trousers to get a fit I liked and these were the best. They've coped with rain, hail, snow and no leaks. Even - 4C with just thermals underneath was good. Small niggles are no lock on the braces zip so it undoes over the day. Also knee pads need a higher position for taller people. I had to have the armour sticking out of the top of the liner which was annoying. Overall though they were very comfortable and I had them on 8 hours a day for days.

I got these to go with the matching jacket and they're outstanding. I particularly like the waist closure, on many trousers you get press studs which I don't like as once they get a little old seen to just pop open as soon as you sit on the bike. With these you get a propper hook arrangement that can never come undone accidentally and one of the many reasons I picked this combo over all the others.
