Richa Cyclone 2 Gore-Tex Trousers - Black

I'm a 34-35" inch waist in short leg the KL (not xl?) fit fine without the quilted liner but with, they would have been too tight. I am a three season rider so I could live without the need of the liners, plus I tend to wear merino leggings for comfort etc. I like the fact that they provide d30 hip protection as standard on the whole without the liners they fit well but had I gone up another size to accommodate them I think the waist would be too big - obviously a sizing issue there.
I can say that they are waterproof and the vents do a reasonable job of keeping you cooler if you are on the move. I had no issue getting them over my boots, but my boots are not particularly substantial. Where I was very disappointed was that the fly zip never stayed up, I had similar issues with the cuff zips on the jacket and finally I thought that it was a misaligned velcro knee armour fastener within the trousers rubbing away at the top of my knee but I discovered it was top of the knee 'expansion seam' this was a recurrent issue which caused me a lot of discomfort and annoyance. Will be seeking to send them back.

Excellent product for touring. After trying on several different sets of kit, the Sportsbikeshop team arranged for a couple of different sizes for me, the larger being the best fit. Warm and dry on a pretty cool day, I am generally very happy. The only comment I have is that there is no real hip protection. Otherwise, I’m very happy.

I should have bought some gore Tex kit last year but decided to get some RST waterproof kit. That kept me dry for about 6months then failed! Really happy with the Cyclone 2, thought about the Brutus but the gore Tex lining is loose and got in the way when trying on. This has a fixed gortex membrane which is much better. The legs are on the long side but not too long. They fit really well over my big boots The quality feels really good. Actually went to the Kirton shop in person and tried 4 different sets and this was by far the best!
