The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
Very good fit, light weight, easy to take on and off
Definitely my favourite boots at the moment.
Perfect fit, excellent closure system. Outstanding when leisure riding with lots of walking about.
Seeing that these boots are sold in absolutely every motorbike shop and almost marketed as flagship boots I'm quite impressed by the lack of reviews - only one on this page at the point of writing. Hence, I feel compelled to add mine to help others make a decision.
I've had these for four months. I think they are probably a perfect spring&autumn boots.
They're definitely waterproof, I have tested that when crossing a ford! They are also on the comfy side, I actually wear them even when I'm not riding my bike.
The one thing I don't like is these boots cannot handle very cold weather. When it's less than 3 degrees outside, your toes will turn into ice cubes. I had to buy different boots for very cold weather as I just couldn't wear them when it was that cold even with heavyweight wool socks. Similarly, though I haven't worn them in summer yet but I have a suspicion they might get sweaty in very hot days. Hopefully not. Nonetheless, these are currently my main boots that I'm wearing every day on and off the bike.
The best thing about them probably is the grip. Oh boy do these boots grip! 10/10 Almost like wearing a grippy tyre on your feet!
The lacing is actually alright. People get curious if they see you put these on and tighten them with ratchet haha. I would say overall the ratchet system works well. It's also easy to stick your feet inside when wearing bulky wool socks, with other shoes I had to use a shoe horn but with the ratchet system on these it's fairly easy to open them up.
I'm no boots professional but I wonder if the manufacturer in their next iteration added insulation and some smart ventilation whether that would make them better for winter&summer.
Anyway, overall they do the job and I do like the way they look when I'm wearing them. They also feel like quality boots too, material wise and the way they're put together.
Lastly, with any motorcycle gear, I'll always suggest to try whatever you're thinking of buying physically in store first ideally. And try different brands and options. Although, if you do order these boots online, unless you are planning on wearing them in 0 degrees I'm confident you're not going to be disappointed!
These boots are stylish and true to size. The ratchet system is easy to use no more laces.
They are very comfortable and didn't take much use to break in. I would definitely recommend these boots.
