RST Adventure-X CE Waterproof Boots - Black

I've had 4 pairs of these and they last about 6 months riding once a week. The insoles come unglued, the soles come unglued and the waterproofing fails.

The boots are a true fit
There are comfortable on a long distance changing gear and braking and ok to walk with

They just fit perfect like all rst clothing. After a few rides all bedded in, any new boots take a bit of time. Just did not get on with Alpinestars boots.

Like the height and wear them on my cruiser for long journeys as I sometimes ride abroad
Dislike the bad finish that does not affect the boot but might affect the longevity of the inner tongue due to manufacturing error
Loved the fact that I raised this in-store and a note was made as they are under warranty for 12 months.
I had to wear them as brought for a trip abroad and did not have time to return them immediately.
Still breaking the boots in so beware they are quite stiff at first

I say water resistant because if you get water inside the padding in the sole will come unglued but I just pull them out. Very comfortable and flexible but little protection from impacts/twists. I broke my foot in these after my dirt bike fell on them but I still wear them. These are my second pair because the rubber sole came unglued after a year on my previous pair.

I believe in honesty, never liked RST, all my kit is alpinestar dainese boots have been always sidi. 1 year in hospital put on weight so thought ill buy some cheap RST stuff, sidi boots broke so bought some cheap road boots ok, lethers. Now I bought an adventure bike thought buy some cheap RST enduro suit and boots for this ive ridden absolutely pouring down with rain for hours on the road RST turns out to be a hell of a lot better than I thought. Sidi alpinestar dainese all italian stuff so sorry say feet are narrow so rubbish over raised rubbish alpinstar the same only built for tiny skinny people italian over rated garbage. RST dont know where the company is but miles better more comfortable and much better priced, also have to say returning items under warrenty braking with other companies charge you for returning them, sportsbikeshop dont so ill also only buy off them from now on their services are brilliant im from Cardiff and just road all the way to Bristol they sent me plenty of boots down to try on brilliant service and I'm honestly just be honest to the public

The ski boot style straps feel great quality and allow for a quick fitting of the boot making them super comfy and secure. The high leg is supportive but not restrictive. Looking forward to test out the waterproof capabilities.

Didn't last very long. Gave an extra star for the protection they offer, but the waterproofing didn't work at all after a tiny scuff.

Great fit, well supported and comfortable. Just what I'd expect from RST.

Good boot for the price. Highest protection level and waterproof. They are big and clumpy but will break in with use and feel much better. Only negative is the buckles. They’re far too fiddly and don’t lock in the same position but work fine. Just takes a little longer to put the boots on.

They are sturdy and strong enough to protect if riding off road at a reasonable price

Haven’t used these boots in anger yet so can’t vouch for weather proofing or daily durability. But they are very comfortable, feel robust and look smart too. And a good price too. Usual excellent service from SBS.

Can certainly tell they are a budget boot, insoles are falling apart after a few wears and not waterproof but they do the job and are comfortable

Top boots at incredible value. Surprised at how easy they are to put on and take off, something other boots can be a pain with. Great secure fit, good tread for when you’ve got to walk through mud and pick your bike up.
