I really like the easy fastening system as it is neat and there are no loose laces to snag anywhere. Unfortunately, first time out on the bike wearing these, I got knocked over by a car and my right foot was still on the peg and trapped by the bike. Whilst some of the bones in my foot got fractured, I am convinced the toughness of the boots and internal armour saved me from something much worse! Apart from the wire fastening breaking and some scuffs, the boot faired pretty well. Definitely recommended!
