Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...
Customers praise these motorcycle boots for their comfort, waterproofing, and durability. Many highlight the wide fit as perfect for those needing extra room, noting the boots feel like old friends immediately. The well-crafted zips and quality construction earn high marks. A few mention minor issues with cold feet or tight zips, but overall satisfaction remains high. These boots are often compared favorably to previous pairs, promising long-lasting wear and excellent on-and-off bike performance.
Fits my wide feet very nicely
Like wearing slippers.
I’ve worn these for cold wet winter rides many in the last year. I bought wide to fit thick socks underneath, so they feel a bit bulkier than my ‘summer’ boots. They look very well made, and been fine for 10,000 miles so far, still look new.
Very pleased with the quality of the boots.. they will last me a good few years.
I'm replacing my BMW Boots after 18 years of travel. They have been to Nordkapp, NZ South Island and many countries around Europe. So far, I'm really pleased with the quality of my New Boots. I spent a lot of time researching, I couldn't find a reason not to buy them! Hopefully these give me many years of wear.
You get what you pay for.
These replaced my previous daytona boots, that only lasted 20 year's!
these were comfortable from the off and have broken in very quickly.
here's to another 20 years!
My 3rd pair of daytona boots my last pair were brought in 2007 and are still water proof, but a bit tired looking, brilliant boots and you get what you pay for
I had the standard pair of these boots previous to these and found they weren't quite wide enough so after several years of use I've bought the wide ones. I'm just back from a 1500 mile trip around Scotland in all weathers from blaring hot sunshine to thunderstorms. The biggest complement I can give these boots is that I forgot about them completely because they are so comfortable, they keep your feet dry in the wet and I did not overheat on the hot days. They are incredibly well made and I hope they last me a good few years.
Pricey boots but worth every penny. Purchased wide fit Size 8. Fit my stubby feet perfectly. Sturdy zips both sides make easy easy to get on/off. Cozy and dry so far. Yet to test in heavy rain.
Swapped a standard fit pair for these. I have a bunion so need wider boots - the normal ones are wider than average but the wide fit have given me the room I needed and room for insoles.
Highly recommended!
These boots arrived earlier than expected, tried them on and even from new felt like old friends.
Might be thought of as expensive, but you get what you pay for and these ooze quality
I had an old pair of these boots which are more than 10 years old, they were so comfortable and still waterproof, which is why I wanted a new pair of the same boots, went for the extra wide as I have trouble with a lot of boots trying to bend my ankle at the curve of the boot, these are perfect for me, what I also like about my old boots is the quality of the zips, the new boots seem to have the same quality. Initially bought (online) size 44 to match my Sidi's, but they were too big.
Decided trying on in-store was a better option. 43 was a bit tight, so opted for 43 'wide' which fit great, and as a bonus are cheaper.
The boots feel quality inside and out. Zips are stiff out the box, but loosening off gradually. 2 year warranty and option for re-soling means these should be with me for years to come, making the initial price more palatable.
With a decent pair of socks, these are the warmest boots I've had. I do suffer with poor foot circulation, so a 4 hour ride with a max of 4 degrees still had my feet cold eventually, but they stayed warmer for a lot longer than my previous boots.
My last pair of Daytona Road Stars, were bought about 25 years ago, in the early 90's. They're warm and comfortable and good on and off the bike and only recently started to let in water around the toes. It's not worth repairing them so I'll keep them for seconds. Here's to another 25 years.
I pondered long and hard before spending this much on a pair of boots. Needn't have worried! Being the wide fitting I went with my normal size 12 and they fit very well. A little bit stiff from new which is normal but worn a few times and now very comfy, on and off the bike.My feet have stayed warm and dry so far. Quality seems to match the price and I hope they will last me a long time. Next day delivery from SBS spot on as usual.
Build so well, finished spot on, and comfy. I know this is a lot to spend, but well worth being comfy on the bike.
Should last for years.
Well fitting and comfortable. I have a minor problem with the long zip on one of the boots. I have only one hand that works and the boot that i have to reach across to is difficult to zip. It needs to be a fraction bigger over the instep. I am creating a pull to attach to zip.I don't suppose there are many one hànded bikers out there with extra wide feet. If there are any then this is a consideration.
The most widely used Daytona motorcycle boot and the winner of numerous test awards. A design that is often copied, but never achieved. Also available as a standard fitting.
